Alfa Romeo 155 V6.
For the 1996 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti racing, they plan to gain up to 70 million rubles.
In the 1990s, the racing Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI raced and won a number of European championships, and in mid-June 2021 one of the examples of this model will be auctioned off at RM Sotheby’s.
Note that we are talking about a car built specifically for the 1996 Italian Championship. This is evidenced by the abbreviation ITC (Italian Touring Championship) in the name of the car.
In that season, the Italian racer Nicola Larini competed in the sports car, who managed to win several victories at once during the championship.
After the end of his racing career, the sports car was in private hands. Until two thousand and eighteenth, he was in the north of Italy, and over the years he had only two owners.
The car was then imported to Germany, where the local firm Scuderia Gran Tourismo prepared it for the classic DTM championship.
In the DTM Classics championship, the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI ITC sports car made its debut on July 7, 2019 at the Norisring track and immediately won, and on August 25 of the same year finished fourth at the Lausitzring circuit.
In March of the twentieth, the engine and transmission were reassembled on the machine. Note that over the past few years, over 350,000 euros have been spent on car reconstruction (31.2 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
By the way, the sports car is driven by a 2.5-liter aspirated V6 with a cylinder angle of 90 degrees. It works in tandem with a six-speed semi-sequential gearbox and is capable of developing 490 hp, spinning up to 11,900 rpm.
Thanks to such «stuffing» the car can «shoot» from a place to a hundred in 2.5 seconds, developing a speed of over 300 km / h.
Note that the auction house RM Sotheby’s expects to gain for this Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI ITC from 700,000 to 800,000 euros (from 62.5 to 71.4 million rubles).
