However, as it turned out, this is not the only novelty that the Italian brand is preparing for its fans, because today it was officially given the «green light» to develop another crossover.

According to rumors, the novelty will be a crossover that will take a place of the MiTo in the model lineup.

It will be a compact car that is in the segment of B-SUV, that is small parkettes, while it is worth saying that in this segment is serious and intense competition.

The basis for new items will serve as a platform STLA Small, developed just Stellantis and used by brands such as Jeep and Fiat.

This suggests that the body length of the crossover will not exceed 4.2 meters.

The new model is likely to be named Alfa Romeo Brennero, as it was previously officially registered with the patent office.

The range of the crossover will include pure gasoline, rechargeable hybrid and fully electric power units.

However, it is necessary to specify that the last variants will appear only after at least a year after the official debut of the car.

Sources close to the manufacturer indicate that the cost of the car will start at around 30,000 euros (2.48 million rubles).

It is predicted that the Alfa Romeo Brennero will be officially introduced in the second half of 2023, its production will begin in the fall of that year, and it will only enter the market in 2024.

At the moment, it is unknown what the future Alfa Romeo novelty will look like, although we can expect it to be a bright and eye-catching car in a sporty style, like other Alfa models.

There have been rumors about the existence of the Brennero for a long time, but only now there is evidence that it will actually appear.
