Audi RS7 Sportback 2020 — speed without compromising comfort.
Audi continued to produce the RS model and in September 2019 at the Frankfurt Motor Show introduced the world their new car — Audi RS7 Sportback. The car turned out quite interesting. With the dynamics and speed of a sports car, it has a large and comfortable interior, which is no worse in comfort than business class car interiors.

Recall that less than a month ago, developers from Audi announced the RS6 Avant wagon, which is very similar to the new RS7 Sportback 2020 model year, not only in its appearance, but also in its technical characteristics.

Appearance

The front of the car, although not very high, however, still has a decent angle of inclination of the hood, which significantly helps to assess the road situation. The hood has a lot of relief.

As with all previous models from the PC line, the wheel arches are slightly expanded here, which makes the front of the car wider. Below the hood is a “predatory” head optics, thanks to which the face of the car looks very menacing. An interesting solution was to make vertical streaks of daylight inside the headlights.

Almost the entire front bumper is occupied by a large grille, decorated with a glossy black mesh. There are also several air intakes decorated with the same mesh.

The first thing that I want to note when looking at the car in profile is the huge wheel arches of a round shape that can accommodate wheels with wheels of the 21st size (in the top-end configuration, the wheels are 22nd in size) and low-profile rubber.

The body profile is almost completely filled with a wavy relief, which, in addition to appearance, also adds aerodynamic characteristics to the car. Rear-view mirrors, door handles and other decorative elements are made in the same style and have rounded shapes.

The most unusual and interesting was the feed of the new Audi RS7 Sportback. Dimensional optics, which are interconnected by a strip, also look unusual. All together, it looks like one large marker lamp passing through the entire rear.

Another interesting point is the curved decorative strip that highlights the large pipes of the oval-shaped exhaust system. In general, this is all that the diffuser contains. The trunk lid ends with a retractable spoiler, which automatically extends when it reaches a speed of more than 100 km / h.

Salon

There are two main configurations of the Sportback interior, which differ in seats and some functionality. In the basic configuration, standard “civilian” seats are set upholstered in genuine leather.

You can also purchase a car with established sports seats, which have improved settings and lateral support. Sports seats are also covered in genuine leather. The rear seats can be 3 or 2, depending on the configuration.

The center console has a very modern look. It has two displays located one below the other. A strip of deflectors passes over the displays. There is nothing superfluous in the tunnels, just a gear shift lever, slightly shifted to the driver and a gadget compartment, which is located closer to the passenger seat.

The tunnel ends with a large armrest.
The steering wheel in this Audi model, according to the good old tradition, was made beveled from the bottom, with three spokes, on which there are a large number of buttons and switches (including switches of driving modes). The virtual dashboard is small in size, but very informative.

In conjunction with the engine was installed eight-speed automatic transmission. The drive is full, with the ability to switch between rear or front. On a test drive, the car showed acceleration to 100 km / h in just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 305 km / h.

release date

First, the hatchback will be sold in Europe, which will happen no earlier than this winter. Audi RS7 Sportback will reach the Russian market only in the spring of 2020.
