The launch of production of the Aurus Komendant crossover was announced next year — it is he who should give the main load to the Yelabuga workshop Aurus, designed to produce 5,000 cars per year.
The annual circulation of the Aurus Senat sedans will be about 600 units, and this year only 300-350 civilian versions of this model will be released.
Armored limousines for Putin and other high-ranking officials will continue to be assembled by hand in Moscow at NAMI facilities.
The current depth of localization of Aurus Senat is 53%, next year it should increase to 80%.
The world premiere of the Aurus Senat sedan took place in the spring of 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show. Already in 2024, Aurus Senat expects a planned restyling.
It is planned that from 70 to 80% of the Aurus production volume will be exported, the General Director of Aurus LLC Adil Shirinov called the Middle East, North Africa, China and South America priority markets.
The minimum ruble cost of the Senat sedan is 18 million rubles, but about 22 million rubles will have to be paid for well-equipped samples from the first batches. The first specimens assembled in Yelabuga will be shipped to customers in June.
Recall that the power plant of the Senate consists of a 4.4-liter V8 petrol engine with 598 hp. and a 9-speed hybrid automatic transmission with a 62-horsepower electric motor.
