BMW I4 M50 2022.

After quite a long development and an equally lengthy teaser campaign, a completely new BMW i4 was officially presented in serial form in March this year.

About a month later, the Bavarian auto company showed its sporty version of the M Sport at the Shanghai Auto Show.

The manufacturer is currently preparing the debut version of the i4 M50.

Without waiting for an official photo of the car, an independent designer created renderings of this powerful electric car.

This image originally appeared in one of the accounts of the social network Instagram, but for some reason it was quickly deleted.

However, representatives of foreign media managed to distribute this photo, thanks to which we had the opportunity to take a look at the alleged appearance of the new i4 M50 with a matte blue body color.

The photo shows that there is an “M” badge on the front of the car, which is accompanied by a number of characteristic details.

BMW’s Official Blog says that the new model will closely match the M Sport variant.

That is, it will receive a more aggressive front bumper with massive air intakes and a wide matte side body kit.

In addition, the electric car will be equipped with new alloy wheels with multi-spoke design and diamond trim.

Overall, the render looks even more aggressive than the i4 M Sport shown in China last month.

However, its technical characteristics are still a mystery.

It is already known that the i4 M Sport will have 523 hp at its disposal, which is enough for the electric car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in about four seconds.

With regard to the cruising range, according to the automaker, the battery pack will be able to provide up to 590 km of track on a single charge.

Also, according to the latest reports from the company, the i4 lineup will be expanded with two more less powerful rear-wheel drive variants in the future.

They will be named i4 eDrive35 and i4 eDrive40. These versions will receive not only reduced power, but also a shorter range of travel without recharging.

The official blog dedicated to BMW products indicates that the full debut of the entire i4 line should take place on June 1 this year.
