At the beginning of this year, information slipped through that the Hyundai brand decided to restyle its hit, the Creta model.

These intentions have already been brought to life with the introduction of the 2021 Hyundai Creta, a handsome SUV whose outstanding qualities are designed to make it famous in the mid-size crossover market.

The new model will acquire an even more stylish and modern look, where there will be both traditional and completely new details, a more perfect interior, where it will be possible to comfortably cover even long distances, and also improve the engine range, which will become somewhat more powerful, as well as slightly more economical.

In this case, the cost of the car will be only slightly higher than the previous generation.

Exterior

Even from the photo, it can be stated that the car has acquired serious changes in appearance. Despite the fact that the machine will maintain its compact size, it will accommodate a large number of jewelry.

Among them are a stepped and smoothly rolling relief, black plastic plates, which also play a protective role, as well as an abundance of chrome elements and turned lighting technology. In addition, for the 2021 Hyundai Creta, new air intakes, bumpers and other decorations have been prepared to refresh the car’s appearance.

The front end of the new body has undergone quite a few transformations. It is now set slightly higher and also slightly lengthened.

Strengthening the slope of the muzzle significantly improved the view from the driver’s seat. And the hood lid, thanks to the smoothly flowing ups and downs, looks quite elegant.

However, most of the interesting things are located just below. In particular, it is a massive, slightly recessed air intake of complex shape, the grille of which is decorated with chrome edging.

The central part of the grille is filled with a large pattern painted in gloss black, contains several chrome stripes, as well as a Hyundai nameplate.

Immediately under all this there is a platform under the license plate, and from the sides, large headlights of a complex configuration, separated by body panels, adjoin the grille.

Regardless of the configuration, the optics will receive xenon filling, while the most expensive version will be able to boast of LED lights. Together with everything else, the headlights look very stylish.

As for the body kit, it turned out to be very large. Its main part will be a massive trapezoidal air intake with a wide protective layer of plastic «like metal».

Along the edges you can see depressions for fog lights, a muscular relief, as well as another, already unpainted layer of plastic at the very bottom.

The sides of the SUV look no less interesting. They are quite tall and start with a slightly sloped roof, painted in a different color from the main one.

Underneath all this is a strip of windows of classic shape and medium size, tapering towards the rear. She received a graceful frame in the form of black-glossy stripes.

Chrome is not found here even in rich trim levels. Slightly below, there is a significant number of various transitions in height, which have a stepped or wavy appearance.

At the bottom, all this rests against slightly protruding wheel arches of a strict rectangular shape and sills, on which a protective plastic layer can also be found.

Interior

No major changes are expected inside the new 2021 Hyundai Creta. However, the interior promises to be of better quality and will receive finishing from fabrics, two types of plastic, leather and metal.

The number of useful functions that can make movement on the machine more comfortable and safe will significantly increase.

Control and management bodies

The center console looks tighter and more interesting than before. Here you can find a series of air ducts, a rather large multimedia system screen, controlled by touch, as well as a sophisticated exterior climate control unit.

The torpedo is connected to the tunnel by a small hollow to accommodate small things.

And on the tunnel itself you can find small cupholders, several technical buttons surrounding the gear lever, a few more pockets for things and a nice armrest.

The steering wheel of the car has received a small size, but a wide rim, due to which it is very convenient to turn it, and a large number of buttons are located on the spokes.

The instrument cluster with a fairly large computer has completely moved here from the previous model.

Seats

The new product will easily accommodate five adults of average build, which was confirmed during a test drive.

Everyone will get a comfortable, pleasant-to-the-touch seat with fabric or leather trim, as well as lateral support.

Additional options will include mechanical or electrical drives, tiltable headrests, heating and other important options.

Specifications

The heart of the Hyundai Creta 2021 is a 1.5-liter power unit, which can be either gasoline or diesel and will show the same 115 «horses».

But the gearbox can be chosen: either a six-speed mechanics or a variator. A full-fledged seven-speed automatic machine will be offered as an option.

There is no exact information about the driving characteristics of the car, but it is clear that they will be enough to move around the city and the highway, but for off-road it will definitely not be enough.
