Hyundai Kona is not officially delivered to the Russian market. The reasons for this decision are not exactly known.

Perhaps Hyundai is afraid that the Kona will not be bought in Russia because of its too high price, largely due to the fact that the Korean model is equipped with either a hybrid unit or exclusively electric motors.

But the car itself, according to most owner reviews, has the features that many drivers look for in small crossovers.

I’m very impressed with this car. Off the line, it will get you back in your seat, even if you’re not in sport mode.

The front seats are very comfortable. The rear seats are good for kids or short adults, but if you have a child car seat in the equation, the rear seats get cramped.

There’s plenty of room for groceries in the trunk, and with the rear seats folded down, there might be enough room for a weekend job or a trip for two.

The technology is terrific. The touchscreen is bright, clear, and the transitions are smooth. The speakers are ample and provide crisp sound.

This is the best car I have owned to date. I traded in my beloved 2020 Corolla SE (also a fantastic car) for this car, and I love it.

It has sport mode, keyless entry and push-button start, wireless Apple Carplay, and it drives beautifully.

Aesthetically, it’s very nice to look at. Love the safety and tech specs.

The Harmon kardon premium speakers are awesome! The fuel efficiency is great.

The Hyundai Kona, judging by the reviews, is capable of surprising with its technological equipment.

The car comes equipped with advanced electronics that simultaneously provide a high level of comfort and safety.

Super smooth and quiet because of its weight (about 4,000 pounds), a really fast car.

The interior is really nicely furnished in leather, not faux, awesome sound system, well thought out dashboard and button layout.

A very upscale car. Passengers in the back seat are a bit cramped for adults, but not bad.

As the comments show, the Korean model is a little cramped inside.

But this peculiarity is conditioned rather by specialization of Kona: the crossover was created for primary operation within a city.

Therefore, the Korean model turned out compact. Due to this, by the way, the car consumes relatively little fuel.

It takes time to get used to the lane assist / steering, as well as to regenerative braking, but as soon as you put it down, the feeling of the car becomes very intuitive.

This and a number of other similar comments show that the Korean model is capable of making driving much easier.

In fact, by properly selecting the settings of the onboard electronics, the motorist will be able to drive the Kona just by pointing the steering wheel in the direction to turn.

This little SUV is built like a truck, wrapped around a steel frame.

It has power, a bigger engine, four-wheel drive, it’s stylish, it’s fun, I can fit anything in it, including heavy stuff.

That said, the Kona is not without a number of drawbacks. However, most of them are due to the fact that the car, as the above reviews show, needs to be adapted to your driving style. Otherwise, the crossover will be difficult to drive.
