Hyundai Sonata N Line 2021: a sedan with a sporty design and dynamic driving characteristics.
The Korean concern «Hyundai Motors» has expanded theof semi-sports cars with a new version of the sedan — Hyundai Sonata N Line 2021.
The novelty is characterized by a bright and expressive appearance, corresponding to the status of salon comfort, a modified power range of components of the power tandem.
In relation to the predecessor of the 2019 model, the new model is identified by the original radiator lining, a large number of aggressive styling details, an additional frontal air intake, as well as other technical and design solutions.
Appearance
In the most viewable front projection, the new midsize sedan body demonstrates:
dynamic tilt of the windshield and the drop-down hood decorated with longitudinal profiles;
angular configuration of LED optics units equipped with original running lights;
transverse lamellas of a large hexagonal radiator grille.
In the configuration of the lower tier of the front end — the format of the lower ventilation air intake, which indirectly indicates the presence of a powerful engine, decorated with elements of a sports stepped relief, diffusers and a compact plastic body kit.
The design features of the front end include vertical air ducts of an additional ventilation circuit. The front body decor is represented by chrome trims and a brand logo recognizable at first glance.
The dynamics of a large predator, ready to jump, is present in the design of the sidewalls.
In the profile photo, the Hyundai Sonata N Line 2021 attracts attention with a combination of business and sports design. In sight:
gentle aerodynamic slope of the domed roof;
contrasting combination of silvery perimeter and black glossy trim of two-section glazing;
exclusive wedge-shaped mirrors;
a small amount of ribbed relief concentrated on the sidewalls and wheel arches.
In the general corporate style, plastic thresholds and components of the semi-sports sedan, 19-inch alloy wheels are decorated.
The stern part is designed in accordance with the layout traditions traditional for European analogs.
The focus is on the compact format of the tilted rear window, the unique graphics of multifunctional lights, the sharp edge of the spoiler, and the branding of the small boot lid.
The surroundings of the rear side of the body are organically complemented by a plastic body kit with air diffusers, a niche for a registration plate and four large-caliber exhaust pipes installed in pairs.
Salon
A characteristic feature of the interior is the dark tone of the finishing materials with decorative accents in the form of black chrome and signature red stitching. The front panel includes:
analog-digital or virtual instrument cluster operating in different modes;
a widescreen media command display placed on the upper tier of the center console;
a pair of stylish ventilation deflectors and a remote control with elements of activation and operational adjustment of the onboard functional and comfort-forming equipment.
The tunnel offers convenient access to the technical sector with the robotic transmission mode switch, organizers and the volume of the built-in mini-refrigerator located under the soft armrest.
Profiled semi-sports seats with high-quality leather trim, are equipped with full lumbar support, several adjustment knots, ventilation and seat heating circuits.
The salon’s assets include advanced media and functional electronics, modern technical equipment, active and passive safety systems, the level of travel comfort corresponding to the status and modification.
The rear row of seats is designed as a sofa with an adjustable backrest, a folding armrest and the possibility of transformation to increase the luggage compartment volume from 373 to 523 liters.
The test drive revealed problems in handling monoblock oversized cargo due to the relatively small opening of the luggage compartment lid.
According to experts, the futuristic body design and advanced functionality of the standard equipment will not require costly modernization in the coming years. Presumably, the next restyling of the sedan will be cosmetic.
Specifications
The body dimensions of the 2021 Hyundai Sonata N Line semi-sports sedan, edited in proportional ratios of 4900 x 1860 and 1465 mm, are copied from the earlier version without significant changes.
The chassis is characterized by a center base extended to 2840 mm and a standard clearance of 155 mm for a car in a sedan body.
Practice has shown that the ground clearance is sufficient to overcome sections of roads with problematic surfaces.

The starting dynamics, the upper limit of the maximum speed and the consumption and operating properties of the sedan are absent in the information field.
Options and prices
The new Hyundai Sonata N Line 2021 model year was originally promised in four main modifications.
The starting price of a car with a basic configuration is close to the psychological mark of 2.5 million rubles. The cost of intermediate and top versions is being specified.
