The new 2020 Maserati Quattroporte is a truly unique blend of luxury and sporty style. The exclusive and unique flagship of the Maserati model range has become even more elegant and innovative, while retaining the best features of the Italian brand.

Special editions of the model — GranLusso and GranSport — open up a new brand strategy and provide an additional choice between two sets of options and design options.

Exterior

The new 2020 Quattroporte has a fast-paced and moderately aggressive exterior that reflects the sporty character of a sedan.

Many elements of the exterior — the front bumper, rear diffuser, door sills and door mirrors — have a stylish matte finish, and the branded grille, thanks to new concave chrome wedges, looks even more solid and expressive.

One of the design innovations is a special electric louver located between the engine radiator and air intakes.

They not only allow you to maintain an optimal coolant temperature, but together with a specially modified bumpers and flat bottom of the body, they contribute to a competent distribution of air flows, improving aerodynamics by 10%.

Interior

The technology of «clean» surfaces forms an exclusive and laconic style of interior decoration.

The main design accents are focused on the most functional elements, the main of which is the infotainment system with a high-resolution 8.4-inch touchscreen display and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto apps.

The multimedia system is located in the center of the dashboard and is harmoniously combined with the new interface elements of the climate control system.

At the bottom of the console is the control panel for the audio system and other vehicle functions, as well as the glove box and compartment for the telephone.

Equipment and safety

All modifications of the updated Quattroporte are equipped with an air quality control system, which significantly increases the level of comfort for the driver and passengers.

This system automatically analyzes the level of pollution in the outside air and, when a special intelligent sensor is activated, blocks the entry of harmful substances into the passenger compartment.

Safety is a top priority in all Maserati vehicles and the new Quattroporte is no exception.

The sedan is equipped with the latest generation of special airbags and a range of active electronic systems that provide the best protection.

These systems include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking and a new Around Vision System.

Engines and transmission

The updated sedan has a traditionally wide range of engines, the most powerful of which is a 530-horsepower 3.8-liter V8 Twin-Turbo engine from Ferrari.

This powerplant is designed for the rear-wheel drive Quattroporte GTS, which has a top speed of 310 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.7 seconds.
The 410-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 Twin-Turbo engine from Ferrari is fitted to the rear-wheel-drive Quattroporte S and all-wheel drive Quattroporte S Q4, which have a top speed of 286 km / h. The new Quattroporte S Q4 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds, the Quattroporte S in 5.1 seconds.

Also in the line of engines of the updated model there is a diesel 3-liter V6 unit, which develops a torque of 600 Nm and a power of 275 horsepower.

The maximum speed of Quattroporte Diesel is 252 km / h, the first «hundred» car overcomes in 6.4 seconds after the start.

All versions of the new Quattroporte are equipped with a high-tech ZF 8-speed automatic transmission with electronically controlled Skyhook dampers.

The highest level of driving comfort is ensured by the ideal axle weight distribution (50:50), as well as by the use of a large number of aluminum elements in the chassis and body of the vehicle.

Special editions of Quattroporte GranLusso and GranSport
As part of its new styling strategy, Maserati is introducing completely exclusive versions of the Quattroporte sedan that embody two vibrant worlds and highlight the brand’s key features.

GranLusso will envelop you in an atmosphere of luxury and comfort, while GranSport will conquer you with incredible dynamics.

Special versions are available to order for all Quattroporte models with a V6 engine, and for the flagship of the range — the Quattroporte GTS with a V8 turbo engine — the GranLusso and GranSport packages will be offered as standard.
