Opel Grandland 2022. Opel continues to modernize the entire model range, bringing it to a single corporate identity Visor.

This time, the manufacturer has deeply reworked the family crossover Grandland, which recently lost the letter «X» in its name.

The German novelty now, like the Mokka, has received a cover with a glossy surface and adaptive headlights with L-shaped LED strips instead of a radiator grille.

Also, the crossover was equipped with an enlarged front bumper with several fairly thin air intakes.

One of the features of the novelty is the head optics. It is presented in the form of 168 LEDs, capable of adjusting the intensity of the light beam so as to avoid dazzling drivers in oncoming cars.

For the first time, the new Grandland was equipped with a night vision system capable of detecting moving objects (people and animals) at a distance of 100 meters.

The interior of the German model turned out to be no less technologically advanced.

A choice of buyers of the new Grandland is offered a digital instrument panel with a diagonal of 10 and 12 inches, as well as 2 types of touch monitors for 7 and 10 inches.

The crossover comes with navigation, a platform for wireless charging and multimedia that supports voice commands and mobile technology.

The touch monitor of the novelty is deployed towards the driver, which increases the ergonomics of the cabin and safety.

Together with Grandland, an assistant is available to simplify highway driving.

It combines adaptive cruise control that keeps you in the lane and is complemented by a Stop & Go function.

As a standard, the German model is equipped with emergency braking systems, frontal impact prevention, road sign recognition and tracking of «blind» zones.

In the interior of the crossover, special ergonomic front seats are installed.

There is also an electric tailgate that can be opened with gestures, a 360-degree camera, an automatic valet parking and remote access to the salon.

Officially, the technical part is not declassified.

But according to rumors, the new Grandland has a 1.2-liter supercharged engine with 128 hp, which is paired with a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission.

In more expensive versions, a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine will appear. And in top-end modifications, this unit is paired with an electric motor, in combination with which the output rises to 296 hp.

In this case, the Grandland gets all-wheel drive and a 13.2 kWh battery.

The novelty will go on sale in the fall. According to preliminary data, in Europe, the crossover will cost about 20 thousand pounds (2.04 million rubles).
