Subaru Levorg STI Sport R 2022. The «charged» Subaru Levorg STI Sport R with an engine from WRX has been presented. It is already the second sport wagon in Subaru’s lineup after WRX Sportswagon.
Simultaneously with launching of the new WRX on the Japanese market, Subaru has updated the Levorg station wagon, having added to the range a «charged» modification STI Sport R.
As well as sedans WRX, five-door with the nameplate STI is equipped with «turbo-poppositnik» 2.4 paired with Subaru Performance transmission, consisting of a variator Sport Lineartronic and full drive Variable Torque Distribution.
Electronically controlled ZF dampers, a Drive Mode Select switch and a split muffler with the STI logo are also standard on the cars.
STI Sport R modification will replace V-Sport version, offered for Levorg of the first generation.
The sport wagon itself is nothing else than adapted for the Japanese market Australian WRX Sportswagon. Both models have a common power unit.
It is a «turbo four» 2.4 engine with 275 horsepower combined with a variator Sport Lineartronic and a full drive VTD, distributing the thrust between the axles in the ratio 45:55.
The main difference is the torque indicator: the WRX Sportswagon has 350 Nm, the Levorg STI Sport R has 375 Nm.
Electronically controlled shock absorbers ZF and the driving mode switch are standard equipment.
Universal laid 18-inch wheels, grille and front bumper STI Sport, as well as split muffler with STI logo, leather trim steering wheel and gearbox lever.
The EyeSight complex is responsible for safety. An airbag for pedestrians is also «in the base».
The rich version Levorg STI Sport R EX adds a media system with 11.6-inch screen and a driver monitoring function.
The most expensive version of «Levorg» will cost 4,774,000 yen, or 3.1 million rubles.
A version without the EX prefix is 385,000 yen (250,000 rubles) cheaper.
The entry-level Levorg with a 1.8 turbo engine and variator is priced at 3,102,000 yen, which corresponds to 2 million rubles.
Prices for the WRX S4 sedan start at 3,640,000 yen (2.35 million rubles).
