The standard five-door Variant is still not available in Russia, but now the German-made «off-road» Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is back in the range.
The station wagons were updated at the same time as the sedan, and the list of changes they have is exactly the same.
The car with a length of 4780 mm has a trunk volume of 639 liters, and with the folded rear seats the compartment holds 1769 liters.
Passport ground clearance of the Alltrack version is 174 mm.
As well as before-restyled cars, updated crossover Universal is presented in Russia with the only power unit — a gasoline turbo engine 2.0 TSI (220 hp), seven-speed «robot» DSG and a full drive 4Motion with a clutch on the rear axle.
In the Russian sedan range there is neither such an engine (maximum 190 horsepower), nor a four-wheel drive.
Standard equipment is rich and includes a three-zone climate control, virtual instruments, a media system with an 8-inch screen, electric front seats, heated seats and steering wheel, LED headlights, electric windshield heating, a rearview camera, Parktronic «around the circle», the servo fifth door, 18-inch wheels and adaptive suspension DCC.
True, the base seats have fabric upholstery. You can order additional options, including a panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control, matrix headlights, and more.
The initial price of the Alltrack version — 3 million 697 thousand rubles. For comparison: Subaru Outback of new generation with an atmospheric engine 2.5 (188 hp) and a variator now costs from 3 million 869 thousand, and for Audi A4 Allroad (2.0 liter, 249 hp) with a «robot» S tronic asking at least 3 million 885 thousand rubles.

German car brand Volkswagen has announced that dealer centers in Russia begin taking pre-orders for an updated version of the Passat Alltrack.
In addition, the press center specified the prices at which car enthusiasts will be able to buy the novelty. It is reported that a car with a turbo motor can be bought for at least 3.697 million rubles.
The updated Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is offered in Russia with a turbocharged 2-liter engine with a maximum output of 220 horsepower.
Together with it the developer has enabled 7-speed robotized gearbox and permanent all-wheel drive.
As for the changes proposed in the appearance of the wagon, in the course of restyling it acquired a different execution of the bumpers, revised headlights, grille, which housed an updated brand logo, as well as other design alloy wheels of 18 inches.
In terms of available options Passat Alltrack can boast of wider functionality.
In particular, the wagon will receive «clever» optics, side mirrors, windshield and windshield washer nozzles, keyless access system and the possibility to start the engine with a button.
In addition, the car is entitled to wireless charging for cell phones, a new multimedia with an 8-inch touchscreen and a regular navigator.
For an additional fee the buyer can order the installation of adaptive cruise control, cabin heater, equipped with delayed start function and remote start possibility on the new model.
For the top modifications will rely on a mass of electronic assistants, as well as a panoramic sunroof.
