The Alpina B3 and D3 S 2023 are officially unveiled: two body types and increased power.
The updated Alpina B3 and D3 S 2023 have been presented to the world.
These models will be sold as wagon and sedan.
This is done in order to give the 3-Series new features in design. Pre-orders are already open in BMW’s home country, and the first deliveries will start in mid-autumn of this year.
The Alpina B3 is now equipped with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with twin supercharger.
This engine develops 488 horsepower. This means that the updated model is more powerful than its predecessor with 32 hp.
The engine is paired with an eight-speed «automatic». Such power is achieved because of a big upgrade of the engine.
It received new turbines, radiators, air ducts, and cooler. The transmission is also changed: it has an updated torque converter.
The sedan car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 305 km/h.
The wagon accelerates 0.1 seconds slower and has a top speed of 302 km/h
The engine in the DS 3 is the same as in the previous generation. This 3.0-liter diesel engine develops 350 horsepower.
The station wagon accelerates in 4.8 seconds and the sedan in 4.6. Top speed also differs by 3 km/h.
The sedan reaches 273 km/h, the wagon — 270. Both models have only all-wheel drive. The suspension and steering are changed.
There are not many visual changes: there is a new front splitter, decorated with the Alpina logo.
At the rear you can see two pairs of exhaust pipes at the edges. The company’s signature side stripes also remained.
In the cabin you can notice a big curved screen, which received all the updated 3 Series.
The interior upholstery can be personalized for each customer and Alpina is ready to work with each customer individually.
In Germany, the B3 sedan costs 88,600 euros (5,131,712 rubles) and the wagon — 89,900 (5,207,008 rubles).
The DS 3 is cheaper — 77,050 euros (4,462,736 rubles) for the sedan and 78,450 (4,543,824 rubles) for the wagon.
