The back of the «charged» crossover is notable for the presence of a massive diffuser and four exhaust pipes instead of two.

Aston Martin DBX 707 is propelled by a 4,0-liter twin-turbo AMG V8 engine.

However, the latter has been seriously modified: its efficiency has increased from 550 h.p. and 700 Nm to 707 powers and 900 Nm of torque.

British managed to achieve such an impressive result due to the use of another engine control unit and new turbochargers with ball bearings.

And also the top version of the Aston Martin DBX will have a nine-speed automatic.

We are talking about a box from Mercedes with a wet AMG-friction instead of a torque converter, due to which a faster gear shift is provided. Plus there is an honest manual mode.

Additionally, the DBX 707 has revised the settings of the electronically controlled locking rear differential, and the transmission ratio of the main pairs has been increased from 3.07:1 to 3.27:1.

It is reported that the top version is able to accelerate from a place up to a hundred in 3.3 seconds.

By the way, 640 hp Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT shows the same time, which is the acting record-holder of Nurburgring among crossovers.

Aston Martin wants to break the record of the track and has already planned to hold races there.

As for the maximum speed the 707-horsepower DBH 707 can gain up to 310 kilometers per hour.

For comparison, potential competitors like Bentley Bentayga Speed, Lamborghini Urus and Maserati Levante Trofeo are a bit slower — their speed limits are 306, 305 and 302 km/h respectively.

The company also reports that the standard air suspension of the top modification received increased volume of air chambers (three times).

The chassis design also used new shock absorbers and recalibrated active stabilizers, working from a separate 48-electricity network.

The ground clearance can be adjusted in the range of 95 mm, like on the standard version.

The new Aston Martin DBX707 already has carbon-ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers, with disc diameter of 420 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear.

Such mechanisms are not only more effective, but also 40,5 kg lighter than standard ones.

Interestingly, the front disks are cooled by two air flows — through the radiator grille and from under the bottom.

The developers have estimated the top model DBX707 in 189,000 pounds sterling (19.5 million rubles at current exchange rates), while the basic model costs from £ 161,000 (16.6 million rubles).
