Audi A8 2024.

The debut date of the new generation Audi A8 2024 has been announced. The design of the model has already been confirmed by officials.

The new generation 2024 Audi A8 will debut next year and may be called the A8 E-Tron.

Mercedes-Benz and BMW have already updated their flagship S-Class and 7-Series sedans.

Moreover, each of the companies has released electric versions of these models.

The third member of the «big German car trio» Audi is just getting ready to update its equivalent of the above A8 models.

However, as it became known the day before, the company from Ingolstadt will produce only the electric version of the Audi A8 2024.

The new flagship of the German company should appear in 2024, and its style will be in many ways similar to the Audi Grandsphere. Grandsphere is a sleek concept car unveiled in fall 2021.

It is one of four Audi Sphere concepts that anticipate the design of the company’s future electric vehicles.

Recall that from 2026 Audi intends to produce only electric vehicles.

According to Marc Lichte, chief designer at Audi, the new A8 will be very similar to the previously presented concept.

This is good news, because the Audi Grandsphere is a very attractive and pretty electric car.

According to preliminary information, the sedan will be called the Audi A8 E-Tron and will be built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, developed jointly with Porsche.

The presented concept has a length of 5.35 meters and a wheelbase of 3.19 meters.

This makes the future car very large, since even the current A8 Horch, available exclusively in China, has a smaller body and wheelbase.

However, this does not mean for sure that the new A8 E-Tron, if, of course, it will be called that, will receive the same dimensions.

Specifications for the production version have yet to be revealed. Therefore, it would be logical to recall the characteristics of the Grandsphere concept.

It has all-wheel drive, thanks to two electric motors with a total power of 710 hp. and 960 N * m of torque.

According to the manufacturer, it takes less than 4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.

The battery pack allows you to drive up to 750 km without recharging. According to preliminary data, the novelty will debut only in 2024.
