Audi RS6 Signature Edition from ABT: «anniversary» modification with an 800-horsepower engine.
Atelier ABT Sportsline has presented a modified version of the «charged» station wagon Audi RS6 Avant (C8) called «Johann Abt Signature Edition».
The novelty is dedicated to the 125th anniversary since the German Abt family founded the eponymous (then blacksmith’s) workshop.
Outside, the modification has a black «Mythos» body and dotted carbon inserts, which are painted here in a special dark red metallic.
Such a car is delivered on exclusive 22-inch forged wheels, each of which weighs only 3.5 kg.
Dark red carbon accents have also been used by ABT for the interior, with ‘Since 1896’ written on the seats, center armrest and door sills.
It is interesting that in the salon of each instance of the anniversary modification there is a piece of the old anvil, which the craftsmen of the Abt family used in their first forge.
This fragment adorns the car’s center console.
The Audi RS6 Avant Johann Abt Signature Edition is driven by a standard engine, the output of which has been increased to 800 hp. and 980 Nm (although at 4,400 rpm the peak torque even reaches 1,000 Nm).
For comparison, the stock station wagon produces 600 forces and 800 Nm.
To achieve such an impressive result, the tuners installed their own turbines and enlarged intercoolers.
Plus, the modified station wagon received a special engine control module and a new exhaust system with four 102mm matte tailpipes.
As a result, this modification is capable of accelerating from zero to one hundred in 2.91 seconds (- 0.69). Acceleration to 200 km / h is possible in 9.79 seconds, and to 300 km / h in 28.35 seconds.
The maximum speed is declared at 330 km / h, while the factory version can only be accelerated to 250 km / h (then the electronic «collar» will work).
The modified car additionally boasts an adjustable suspension, in which the tuners have used new anti-roll bars. In total, ABT will produce 64 of these machines.
They will be hand-picked six pieces a month. The cost of the special version is not advertised.
