Audi S3 2021: photo and price of new sports versions of «treshki».

The updated models Audi A3 Sportback and Audi A3 Sedan were presented back this spring, and now the family has been replenished with «charged» versions of the Audi S3.

«Eski» are quite a bit different from the basic cars in terms of technology, and also stand out for a different design of body parts and a special interior design.

In the European market, new items will go on sale in October 2020, although orders will open this month.

Prices in Germany are as follows: Audi S3 Sportback costs at least 46,302 euros (3.98 million rubles), Audi S3 Sedan — 47,179 euros (4.05 million rubles). The first to hit the market is the special Edition one.

According to the statements of the local office of the company, sports modifications of the Audi «troika» will arrive in Russia in the first half of 2021. Prices and configurations will be announced closer to the start of sales.

Model specifications

The new generation Audi S3 hatchback and sedan inherited the technology from their predecessors. Under the hood of the «esk» was registered a four-cylinder turbo 2.0 TFSI with a return of 310 hp. and 400 Nm.

It is combined with the 7-speed S tronic robot and quattro all-wheel drive. The distribution of the torque is carried out by means of a hydraulic multi-plate clutch installed in front of the rear axle.

Up to 100 km / h, the new Audi S3, regardless of body type, accelerates in 4.8 seconds, the maximum speed is limited to 250 km / h.

The standard «es-third» suspension provides for equipping with a rear multi-link, which reduces the ground clearance by 15 mm.

The optional sports chassis allows individual adjustment of the shock absorber settings to suit the road and driving style. The suitable driving mode is selected via Audi drive select — Comfort, Auto and Dynamic are available here.

The brakes on all four wheels of the Audi S3 models are equipped with ventilated discs. The calipers are painted black by default, with a surcharge in red. Wheel sizes are 18 or 19 inches.

2021 Audi S3 body design and interior

The appearance of conventional and sports modifications does not differ so much. Signatures of the S versions are the larger air intakes in the bumper, a different diamond-shaped Singleframe grille, an additional narrow slot at the leading edge of the bonnet and black mirror caps.

The stern of the charged «triplets» sports a pronounced diffuser and four round pipes of the exhaust system. The spoiler on the sedan’s trunk lid is also striking, while the hatchback has no roof rails.

The interior of the new Audi S3 models received upholstery from recycled plastic bottles, as well as decorative inserts made of aluminum and carbon.

In addition, the cars are equipped with sports seats with improved lateral support and a steering wheel with a beveled rim. On either side of the dashboard, like the base Audi A3, there are ventilation deflectors.

The device itself, depending on the configuration, has a size of 10.25 or 12.3 inches. Expensive versions of the sedan and hatchback rely on the Audi virtual cockpit in the plus version, which offers three configurations of information screens.

The MMI multimedia system of the new «esoks» is built on the MIB 3 platform, which has increased its performance tenfold.

Among the available functions are LTE Advanced Internet, Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto interfaces, voice control, Audi connect key for remote control of door locks and engine start via an Android smartphone.

A 10.1-inch touchscreen integrated into the center console provides acoustic feedback and handwriting recognition.

Optional equipment includes a head-up display and Bang & Olufsen speakers with 3D sound.
