The 2021 Bentley Bentayga Hybrid is a hybrid version of the Bentayga. The restyled Bentayga crossover debuted back in the summer of 2020 — first, the basic version was presented in July, and then the most powerful Speed variation with the W12 6.0 biturbo unit was revealed in August.
And now the third modification of the Hybrid has appeared in the range, on which the company has high hopes in the light of the growing popularity of electrified cars.
In addition, the British, as part of the current development strategy, plan to equip all their cars with electric motors by 2026, so that the hybrid Bentayga is one of the most important models of the brand today.
Power plant characteristics.
The restyled Bentayga Hybrid is equipped with a V6 3.0 petrol turbo unit and a 94 kW (350 Nm) electric motor.
In total, the tendem produces 449 hp. and 700 Nm. Traction to the wheels is transmitted through an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
The crossover accelerates to 100 km / h in 5.5 seconds, the maximum speed of the car is limited to 254 km / h.
The model is equipped with a 17.3 kWh lithium-ion battery, which consists of 168 individual cells. The declared battery life is 100 miles or 8 years.
When using powerful charging stations, the battery energy can be fully restored in 2.5 hours (charging speed up to 7.2 kWh).
The power reserve on one electric traction is 50 km, the total range with a full gas tank is 863 km (NEDC standard).
The new Bentley has three driving modes — EV Drive, Hybrid Mode and Hold Mode.
In addition, there is an automatic battery energy management program.
When driving in any of the modes, the data of the navigation system is taken into account, which ensures the most efficient operation of the power plant.

Externally, the hybrid Bentayga is almost no different from the base crossover. Compared with the pre-reform car, it has an enlarged radiator grille and raised headlights by 30 mm.
At the rear, the model sports a new tailgate with integrated elliptical lights. The license plate area is located on the bumper.
The Blackline specification is optionally available, which provides for the replacement of chrome decorative elements with black ones.
The complete set of the new Bentley Bentayga Hybrid includes a virtual instrument panel, a multimedia system with a 10.9-inch touchscreen, a head-up display, induction charging of smartphones, a navigator with three-dimensional graphics.
Supports wireless integration of gadgets via the Apple CarPlay interface and a wired connection via the Android Auto protocol using the USB-C connector.
The crossover has two seating configurations. The standard option is a three-seater rear sofa with tilt-adjustable backrests (the angle is doubled).
Separate second row seats with a center console are available as an option. After restyling, this layout became more comfortable: with a vertical fit, the increase in free space in the knee zone was 30 mm, with the backs folded down — almost 100 mm.
