BMW M3 Touring Daytona Violet Paint 2023. The Goodwood Festival of Speed in Great Britain is in full swing. As part of this spectacular event, the BMW M3 Touring made its dynamic debut.
The new BMW M3 Touring 2023 station wagon debuted at Goodwood in the iconic Daytona Violet Paint color.
The Germans brought the station wagon to the Festival in the historic BMW Daytona Violet paint with a shade of purple metallic.
This color, which has adorned the body panels of BMW cars since the E36 M3, was undoubtedly chosen intentionally to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the M Performance division.
Driven by the Duke of Richmond, who should be familiar with the track, the performance station wagon was the first to be driven on the track in 2022.
«It’s amazing to be the first to drive it up the mountain,» Duke said of his ride.
«Really enjoyed it! The gearbox was wonderful. By raising and lowering the gears myself, it felt like I was shifting perfectly all the way to the top.
We started off a little slow, but, you know, it’s better to overdrive.»
Fully unveiled this week, the 2023 BMW M3 Touring is the first factory M3 station wagon.
It’s powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 503 hp and 650 Nm of torque.
Transmission is an 8AC gearbox and all-wheel drive. All this allows the car to reach 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h.
The M3 Touring will go into production this fall and will be sold in Europe and Australia.
