Bugatti Veyron 2020: the most powerful and expensive car of the year.
The first generation of the elite supercar Bugatti of the Veyron series in the “coupe” and “roadster” trim levels was sold in a total circulation of 350 copies.

The brilliant success of the world’s fastest production car initiated a complex of updates, as a result of which the high-tech model Bugatti Veyron 2019 entered the world market, but already under the name Bugatti Chiron.

The name of the new development perpetuates the memory of the outstanding racer who previously played for the Bugatti brand team. Shown at the annual Geneva Motor Show 2016, the novelty is still the subject of controversy and discussion of the global automotive community.

According to reports, in the second generation, the new model will receive:

• improved strength and aerodynamic characteristics of the composite body;
• comfortable suspension;
• a more powerful version of the power unit;
• extended functionality of standard options and additional, including comfort-forming equipment.

Exterior

According to experts, an elite production car is a fundamental restyling of its eminent predecessor, complemented by a number of new technical solutions, unique starting and speed characteristics.

• futuristic front end design with wedge-shaped hood;

• wide chrome-plated perimeter of the front grille;

• sporty reliefs of large-format air intakes.

The brightest and most impressive element of the aggressive style is the evil squint of the LED head optics displayed in a row.
In the photo in the side projection, the supercar demonstrates the streamlined profile of the coupe-like body, the chrome-plated perimeter of the huge side air intake and volumetric niches with one-piece alloy wheels.

The aft layout is almost entirely copied from the 2019 Bugatti Veyron, which is still under construction, with the exception of the lights and the diffuser configuration, which has never been embodied in metal. The top of the back is eye-catching:

• sports window format;

• perfect aerodynamics of the rear wings;

• a bright strip of red LED illumination located between the lamps.

The middle of the stern is reserved for the placement of a slightly protruding bumper of large air diffusers, four trapezoidal exhaust tips are brought out to the center of the massive body kit.

The complete set includes an automated wing, which is extended and installed, and the optimal angle at a speed of 220 km / s.

Despite the widespread use of lightweight carbon fiber parts, the new mid-engined body has become 150 kg heavier. The reason for this phenomenon is the increased resistance of the structure to operational loads and an expanded range of standard components.

Interior

• Most of the control buttons for standard options are located on the upper plane of the sports steering wheel, so the console is marked with a narrow ledge that smoothly merges into a high tunnel.

• Installed at the top of the front panel, the instrument cluster includes an analog dial-up speedometer graduated up to 500 km and two digital displays.

• The view of the front hemisphere is excellent, the lack of rear view due to the non-standard location of the power unit is compensated by video monitoring of the dead zone.

• Comfort of the seats with soft padding, full support and a wide range of adjustments beyond any criticism.

• The glovebox located opposite the passenger seat with integrated cooling system can function as a refrigerator.

The service functionality of the two-seater saloon offers four modes of on-board climate control, a high-quality Accuton audio system, a maximum complete set of car electronics and security systems.

Specifications

In relation to its predecessor, the new carbon fiber body of the modernized Bugatti Veyron 2019 has increased in dimensions to 4544 x 2038 and 1212 mm.

The design is based on an all-wheel drive chassis controlled by a five-mode automatic system with an extended base and an adjustable clearance height.

The basic kit includes electronic control of the power steering, suspension, aerodynamic wing, stabilization systems and brakes with heat-resistant carbon-ceramic linings.

• The unique acceleration and speed characteristics of the updated supercar are provided by the design of an eight-liter turbocharged petrol engine with an output of 1500 hp.

• In tandem with a seven-speed transmission, the power unit is capable of accelerating a two-ton car to a speed of 420 km / h. Test drive has confirmed a decrease in the acceleration time, from 2.7 to 2.5 seconds.

Options and prices

The new Bugatti Veyron 2019 model year worth 2.4 million euros in the new concept does not provide for the presence of top modifications. The owner’s desire to improve the purchased supercar is realized by installing paid options.

At the same time, the purchase price may increase by another 250-300 thousand units of the European currency.

The price in rubles is 180 million, nevertheless, out of the limited edition of 500 copies, 150 cars have already found their owners.

Sales start in Russia

The approximate release date in Russia has not been officially released. According to experts, the new model range will be available on the domestic market no earlier than the end of 2020.

Competing models

In its price category, the small-run supercar Bugatti of the Veyron series has no competitors, since the maximum price for serial classmates of the premium level does not exceed two tens of millions of rubles.
