Buick LaCrosse 2023.

The next generation of Buick LaCrosse has been declassified on the photo: new appearance and other power features.

The model of the American brand is now presented only on the Chinese market. «The four-door has slightly lost length, but the wheelbase remains the same.

In the model range of the automaker Buick is present quite stylish business sedan LaCrosse. This car debuted in 2016, but due to not the highest sales figures, the manufacturer abandoned it in the United States.

Today it is offered exclusively in China. The day before, it became known that in the Celestial Empire will soon appear a new generation of Buick LaCrosse 2023.

The brand Buick has presented a large sedan LaCrosse of the actual generation in 2016.

Thus in 2019 this model left the American market, as demand for «four-door» was modest, and besides, the concern General Motors, which owns the brand, has already decided to focus on SUV segment, gradually getting rid of «domestic» lineup from sedans and hatchbacks.

Now the LaCrosse is presented only in China, and the model is preparing for the soonest debut of the new generation.

Now the appearance of Buick LaCrosse of the next generation ceased to be a secret: photos of novelty have been published in base of Chinese Ministry of Industry.

Judging by pictures, the model has received more modern exterior design, corresponding to the present brand style.

Thus, the design of the front end borrowed a lot from the Buick Century. It has similarly designed hood moldings, headlights of unusual shape, as well as a large trapezoidal grille, diverging to the bottom of the bumper.

The back also looks different: changed the shape of the trunk lid, the rear lights have a different shape, now they are connected by a wide strip, above which the logo of the brand is located.

At the front there is a hood with original chisels, as well as unusual headlights.

In addition, the sedan received a stylish grille, designed in the form of a trapezoid, which becomes wider at the bottom.

The skeleton of the car has also changed significantly. Here appeared a new trunk lid and lights, connected together by LED-board.

In addition, designers have revised the design of the lower part of the bumper, embedding cataphotas.

The exhaust pipes are obviously longer. The car also received new alloy wheels.

The sedan also has a new lower part of the bumper with cataphores and exhaust pipes slightly adjusted elongated shape.

The profile of the next generation LaCrosse has been decorated with new original wheel rims.

With the change of the generation the four-door lost in length: 4996 mm instead of 5026 mm in the present sedan.

However, the distance between the axles remains the same (2905 mm), so the «shortening» of the new Buick LaCrosse will not affect legs’ room for the driver and passengers.

According to Chinese Ministry of Industry, the new LaCrosse will be equipped with 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which power is equal to 230 hp.

Let’s remind that «four-doors» of the present generation has 165 hp turbo engine with volume of 1,3 liters as a base, and the top versions will have 240 hp 2,0-liter turbo four.

Moreover, the current sedan has a hybrid version at the heart of its installation is an «atmospheric» 1.8-liter capacity, working in tandem with an electromechanical variator, a pair of electric motors, and the system also includes a 1.5 kWh lithium-ion battery.

The next-generation sedan will likely have a hybrid variant, too.

Buick is preparing to premiere two new SUVs: one of them is a «green» parkette of the Electra family, and the other is a restyled version of the Encore GX gasoline crossover.

Their photos were also previously included in the database of the «celestial» Ministry of Industry.

This means that there will be the same amount of space in the cabin.

It is specified in the technical documentation that the sedan will be equipped with a 2-liter turbo, which produces up to 230 horsepower.

It is not excluded that it will get hybrid power plant from the previous generation model. Nothing about price level of updated Buick LaCrosse is reported.
