Cadillac Celestiq 2023.

Cadillac is preparing for the debut of the Celestiq: new teasers of the future flagship sedan.

The novelty of the American brand will debut as a concept before the end of this year. It is expected that the production of «four-door» will start in 2023.

Sales of the brand’s cars in the home market have been falling almost continuously since 2016 (the exception was 2019, when there was a one-percent increase).

At the end of last year, Americans bought 118,331 units, down 8.6 percent from the «covid» year of 2020.

The brand is still «minus» this year, too: Cadillac dealers sold 28,216 units in the first quarter, down 24.3 percent from January-March 2021.

The brand has its own «green» lineup, the beginning of it gave a crossover Lyriq, its sales in the U.S. started only last month.

In the future, the family will add due to the flagship electric sedan, which will be named Celestiq. Now Cadillac has published some fresh teasers of the future «four-door».

There is no new information about «stuffing» of the novelty. As previously reported, the Celestiq will be based on the Ultium platform, on which the «electric-parker» Lyriq is also based, as well as a large pickup and full-size SUV GMC Hummer EV.

They are equipped with batteries, developed together with the Korean company LG Chem, the maximum range of models on this «cart» is 644 km.

What will be the range of Cadillac’s flagship sedan is not yet reported. According to preliminary data, the model will have all-wheel drive.
