Chevrolet Blazer EV 2024.

We first learned about the launch of the 100% electric Chevrolet Blazer EV 2024 crossover last fall.

Then General Motors announced that the car would be mass-produced.

Already in March we were shown the first teaser of the new model, but it did not declassify almost anything.

In the video we were shown only new sports wheels, side fenders, and a charging port.

No more information from Chevrolet, but the brand said that the electric crossover will debut next year.

In April, some photos of the model, which looks a lot like the new Blazer EV, leaked to the web.

Although it had thick camouflage on it, even on the headlights, but many design elements completely matched the teaser and let us know that we are seeing almost a production version.

And now there is already the first rendering of the future car. It is based on the teaser and photos.

Unlike another novelty Equinox, the Blazer has a different grille and headlight arrangement.

Moreover, the grille itself is covered with a panel, painted in the crossover’s body color.

Under it is the air intake, which will direct the air to the battery.

The model has a long hood, which is very strange considering that it is electric. The new rims improve the car’s aerodynamics nicely, as does the roof.

At the rear, there is a sloping glass and spoiler, as well as a «shark fin.» The model will be built on a top-of-the-line platform for electric cars. There is no exact data about the range, but it will be more than 483 kilometers.

Most likely, the initial set will have buildings drive, and more powerful will be equipped with all-wheel drive.

Already this summer Chevrolet will officially show the novelty and will tell about its design and versions. Mass production will start next year.

It is assumed that the Chevrolet Blazer EV will be introduced in the spring of 2023, and it will enter the market as a 2024 model, while it will complement the company’s other offerings, including the Silverado EV pickup.

The manufacturer decided not to disclose the specifics of its new product at CES, and all that was said is the estimated debut date, and that it may be built on the Ultium platform.

The GMC Hummer EV is already built on this platform, which is equipped with a three-engine setup.

The manufacturer is unlikely to use it in the smaller Blazer EV, so the American cross is expected to get one or two electric motors, with the latter option potentially offering up to 580 hp and an all-wheel drive system.

It is possible that Chevrolet will offer different versions of the Blazer EV including the sporty RS. American media suggest that the starting price of the Chevrolet Blazer EV 2024 will be around $35,000 (2.6 million rubles).
