Dacia Duster 2024.

The new generation Dacia Duster without camouflage is on the road test: it is closer to the Renault Kaptur.

A few days ago on road tests was spotted the new Dacia Duster 2024. As you know, the crossover is preparing for its premiere in a new generation.

For the model it will be the third generation. It is already known that the car will receive a completely different styling, but technical characteristics can be partially preserved in the previous version.

It is expected that the new Dacia Duster will be based on a platform of the actual Renault Captur, which is sold in Russia under the name Kaptur. The car is tested in Southern Europe.

As for the published spy-images, there is a test prototype without any camouflage.

By the way, in working documents the model goes under an index P1310.

Of course, externally the cross resembles the Captur, but in details there are unique notes.

In general, the model should receive similar styling to the previously presented Dacia Bigster concept. However, the latter will be much larger in size.

As for the technical part, we can also expect some innovations. In particular, the engine range will be without diesel units.

Gasoline, bi-fuel and hybrid variants will be offered to choose from. In the first case a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine with 130 hp of power is supposed.

In the version with a «soft» hybrid the payoff rises to 150 hp. Characteristics of the HEV version have not been disclosed yet.

Premiere of the crossover is expected in the fourth quarter of next year, but sales will not start before 2024.
