Dongfeng Rich 6 2023.

This is a copy of the Nissan Navara for less than a million: the updated Dongfeng Rich 6 enters the market.

Dongfeng has updated the Rich 6 pickup, based on the Nissan Navara and borrowing a lot from its prototype.

The Chinese model, by the way, was supposed to enter the Russian market, but the manufacturer has not yet disclosed the exact timing.

Updated Dongfeng Rich 6 2023 will be released in 28 different versions.

It is expected that pickup truck prices will start at 91.8 thousand yuan, or a little less than a million rubles.

The updated Rich 6 retained the same engine range. Under the hood, it has a 2.4-liter gasoline engine.

Its claimed maximum output reaches 158 hp. with a torque of 235 N * m.

Optionally, with the Chinese novelty, a 2.3-liter diesel turbo unit will be available.

This motor develops no more than 163 hp. power and 380 N * m of thrust.

As standard, the pickup is equipped with a 5-speed «mechanics». With a more high-torque engine comes an 8-band «automatic»

The novelty is based on a front independent suspension on double wishbones and a rear axle.

The full list of options available to the pickup has not yet been disclosed.

But published photos show that the car will receive a small set of equipment.

In particular, Rich 6 will be equipped with air conditioning, an audio system and a multifunctional steering wheel. The parking brake of the novelty is manual.

The car is equipped with a relatively compact grille with a thick border and large optics both front and rear.

The pickup truck stands out for its high ground clearance and extended wheel arches.

The exact date of the start of sales has not yet been announced, but it is likely that the car will enter the Chinese market in the coming weeks.

A Chinese pickup truck can be ordered either with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine with 158 hp. (230 Nm), which is combined in tandem with a 5-speed manual, or with a 2.5-liter turbodiesel for 140 forces and 305 Nm of torque.

The latter is available with both a manual transmission and a six-speed automatic, and the drive can be either rear or hard-wired all-wheel drive.

The price of the new Dongfeng Rich 6 in China ranges from 89,800 to 139,800 yuan (from 875,000 to 1,363,000 rubles).

Thus, the Chinese clone turned out to be about a third cheaper than the original Navara.

Later it became known that such a pickup truck would also appear in Russia — deliveries are scheduled for the second quarter of 2022, there is no information on the cost yet.
