The next-generation Ford Everest debuted: a lineup of powerful engines and improved off-road performance.

About a month after the teaser campaign began, the next-generation Ford Everest 2023 has officially debuted.

Based on the last Ranger, the American model features better off-road performance, which was achieved by reconfiguring the shock absorbers and widening the wheel spacing by 50 mm.

Visually, Everest is similar to its prototype. But the off-road truck was longer than the Ranger pickup, although it took its characteristic headlights, large grille and many other exterior elements from it.

More extensive changes took place in the interior. In fact, the interior of Everest is completely new.

A vertically-oriented 10.1-inch touchscreen appeared inside the SUV, the diagonal of which increases to 12 inches in expensive configurations.

Also available to buyers are 8 or 12.3-inch digital dashboards, depending on the version.

The American frame SUV comes with a wide range of engines, the type of which will vary depending on the market.

The most expensive modifications use a 3-liter turbodiesel. As standard, the SUV is equipped with a 2-liter engine, which, depending on the version, is supplemented by one or two turbos.

In 2023, the Everest will hit the market with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. The entry-level engines are paired with a six-speed manual transmission, while the more powerful ones have a 10-speed automatic.

Ford announced that the updated SUV is able to cross fords up to 800 mm deep.

It is possible to fasten a cargo weighing up to 350 kg on the roof. Additionally, in the engine compartment is provided a niche for the installation of a battery, designed to power external equipment.
