Photos of the 2024 Ford Explorer crossover in Timberline trim have appeared on the Web.
Recall that we have already seen this car in tests, but there was a complete set of ST.
Interesting documents and photographs have appeared in the database of the Ministry of Industry of the People’s Republic of China, revealing the design and characteristics of the 2023 Ford Explorer performed by Timberline.
Unfortunately, no timeline for the crossover’s official debut has yet been revealed, except that it will take place this year.
But you can already get acquainted with its equipment. In this version, the car boasts improved off-road performance and a more brutal appearance.
Under the hood of the model will be a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine.
As for the look of the Ford Explorer Timberline, here is a more extreme design.
This is expressed in the square outlines of the body and the corresponding design of other exterior details.
A peculiar style of execution is applied to the radiator grille, in the upper part of which there is a neat corporate logo.
Large headlights are interconnected by a decorative insert.
The lower part of the bumper is protected by an overlay, and the rims are complemented by powerful orange brake calipers.
In the published images, the car is shown in a two-tone version, where orange is the main one, and the roof and a number of other details are black. Functional roof rails are installed on the roof.
The rear bumper looks quite difficult due to the appropriate design.
The optics are represented by a through lantern, in the lower part there is traditionally a protective overlay.
The crossover also has a nameplate with the inscription «Timberline». The dimensions of the car have not changed.
So, its length corresponds to 5,066 mm, and its width and height are 2,004 and 1,797 mm, respectively. The center space is 3,025 mm.
Unfortunately, the interior of the model is not shown in the photo, but there is data on the technical «stuffing».
Under the hood of the Ford Explorer Timberline will be a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine with 276 horsepower.
The torque is 425 N * m. With this unit, an all-wheel drive system and a 10-speed automatic transmission work.
