Geely has announced the exact release date of the new Lynk & Co 05: sporty design and economical engine.
According to Geely officials, the new Lynk & Co 05 2023 will be presented on March 21.
In addition, it was announced that the modification of the EM-P will receive two fresh body colors, which are called Twilight Purple and Twilight Gray, as well as a Lynk E-Motive intelligent electric hybrid power system, which is based on a 1.5-liter turbo engine.
As for the appearance of the crossover, a branded radiator grille, called Urban Interspace, is installed in front.
Its internal filling is presented in the form of a criss-cross grid, which emphasizes the sporty character of the car.
In general, the SUV still has the classic streamlined design of the Lynk&Co family.
In addition, it is worth noting the roof line that falls sharply to the stern, thanks to which the crossover received a coupe-like shape. The Chinese model is “shod” in new 19-inch alloy wheels with an original design.
At the stern there are matrix lights and a spoiler in the form of a «duck tail». The exhaust system is represented by two round pipes, divorced at the edges of the rear bumper.
The interior of the car has new seats with a perforated back and good lateral support.
A three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with a flat bottom is placed in front of the driver, behind which lies a fully digital instrument panel.
A fairly large multimedia touch display is built into the center console.
It is also worth noting the presence of the original transmission control knob and through deflectors of the air conditioning system.
As already mentioned, the crossover will be powered by a hybrid system, which is based on a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine.
The power of this unit is 150 horsepower. It is paired with one electric motor.
There is also a triple lithium-ion battery in the system, although its capacity has not yet been indicated. Prices for the Chinese novelty will be revealed later.
