Affordable and practical. Haval has announced sales of a new crossover.
The Great Wall Motor concern will replenish the lineup with another crossover — the Haval M6. It will reach buyers this summer.
Recall that the appearance of this model Haval, «Chinese cars» was the first to write. Now this information has been officially confirmed.
The press release says that Haval M6 is positioned as a family car for every day.
In addition to modern design, robust construction and a spacious interior, the model will offer a reasonable combination of price and quality.
Haval M6: features and equipment
Haval M6 is a fairly large crossover. Its dimensions: 4664 x 1830 x 1729 mm, the wheelbase reaches 2680 mm.
That is, in size it is similar to the Haval F7. The trunk volume is an impressive 808 liters (1550 with the second row folded).
The car will be presented with a single 1.5 liter petrol turbo engine (143 hp and 202 Nm).
The engine complies with the ecological class Euro-5. There will be two transmissions to choose from: a 6-speed “mechanics” and a “robot” with 7 gears.
The list of equipment includes: climate control, keyless engine start, rear view camera, steering wheel height and reach adjustment, cruise control, as well as a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch screen and four speakers.
There is a brake assist system (BAS), electronic stability control systems (ESP) and emergency braking assistance, as well as uphill and downhill assists.
In addition, good ergonomics and a large space for second-row passengers are promised.
The company said that the crossover has passed winter adaptation and is ready for Russian operating conditions.
The main elements of the body and wheel arches are covered with a special anti-corrosion paint, and the front seats are equipped with a heating function.
Apparently, there will be no other “warm” options in the car.
There are three body colors to choose from: white, gray and black. Wheels — 17-inch.
Data on ground clearance for the Russian version is not yet available.
However, for similar machines that are presented in Kazakhstan, it is quite small — 145 mm. The drive is exclusively front.
How much can it cost and when the start of sales
Prices have not yet been announced. For reference, you can take the cost of the Haval M6, for which orders are accepted in Kazakhstan.
There, the crossover is presented in four trim levels at a price of 8.99 to 10.99 million tenge (1.61-1.97 million rubles).
The model should enter the Russian market in the summer. At the same time, the sources of «Chinese Automobiles» claim that the start of sales will take place in the first half of the year.
Based on this, we can assume that the Haval M6 will appear in Russia in June.
