Hennessey Mammoth 1000 TRX 2022.

The brutal Hennessey Mammoth 1000 TRX 2022 6×6 pickup has been unveiled.

As the name implies, this vehicle develops more than 1,000 horsepower and runs it through six giant tires.

The famous atelier is going to produce only 12 of these extreme pickups.

For Hennessey this kind of tuning is a usual thing, such work is done with almost all major pickups that are sold today.

The main one for this project was the Ram 1500 TRX, which came out of Hennessey’s workshops as the Mammoth 1000 6×6.

Other 6×6 companies don’t usually offer an increase in power over the base car, and those that do often only increase the boost on the turbos or superchargers for effect.

Hennessey goes much further, adding a completely different and more powerful supercharger, as well as many ancillary modifications such as upgraded injectors, a reinforced supercharger belt, and more.

All of this comes together during chassis tuning on the dynamometer, where the tuner says the truck will develop at least 1012 hp.

It is this attention to detail that allows them to price this truck from $449,950, and so they can confidently offer a two-year warranty or 24,000 miles.

The tuning studio pumped up the Mammoth 1000 6×6 TRX all-terrain vehicle to 1,016 horsepower.

Texas-based Atelier Hennessey Performance has put the three-axle Mammoth 1000 6×6 TRX SUVs announced back in 2020 into production.

The abbreviation in the name is a hint on a donor vehicle. It became a «vicious» pickup RAM 1500 TRX with a compressor «eight» HEMI 6.2.

In the Hennessey workshop the output of the engine was brought up to 1026 horsepower, plus added a number of other interesting innovations. The cost of such a car is almost $450,000.

Initially it was supposed that six-wheeled «Mammoths» will be equipped with crate engines Hellephant V8 7.0 from the catalog Mopar, but plans had to change for some reason.

Under the hood of the finished all-terrain vehicle is the same HEMI 6.2 «eight» from the RAM 1500 TRX, but boosted to 1026 hp and 1314 Nm of torque (it was 712 hp, 881 Nm).

New features include the control unit firmware, intake system, 2.65-liter supercharger and fuel injectors.

After adding a third axle, the length of the pickup increased by 1.2 meters. The SUV also received power bumpers, additional lighting equipment, a locking differential in the rear axle, Bilstein shock absorbers and 20-inch wheels with 37-inch outside diameter tires.

The interior, judging by the photos, hasn’t changed, but Hennessey Performance may offer other upholstery and décor options.

Last year, Apocalypse Manufacturing built a similar pickup and called it the Apocalypse Warlord.

It has a stock engine and a noticeably lower price: $250,000 (20.2 million rubles) versus the $449,950 (36.4 million rubles) that Hennessey Performance is asking for.
