Hennessey Venom F5 hypercar has received a track-oriented Revolution version.

The Americans from Hennessey Special Vehicles have presented the hypercar Venom F5 Revolution.

It has a tolerance for public roads, but at the same time is sharpened for driving on the track.

Recognize the novelty of the existing Venom F5 can be on the presence of air intake on the roof, designed to improve cooling of the engine compartment. Plus it gets different forged wheels.

The developers report that the track-ready two-door has improved aerodynamics.

So, it has an increased splitter at the front and flaps on the sides of the bumper.

There’s a bigger diffuser and adjustable rear wing, and only the latter is able to generate 635 kg of downforce (at 400 km/h).

In terms of technology, the new Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution 2023 does not differ from the normal version of the model.

This means that two-door relies 6.6-liter V8 engine with two turbines.

This in-house developed motor produces 1,842 hp (1,617 Nm) and works with a standard seven-band robot with two clutches, which transmits power to the rear wheels.

But the adjustable suspension with screw-type struts on the «track» hypercar Americans reconfigured, although its design is not fundamentally changed.

The company also notes that they managed to slightly lighten the coupe. In the curb weight the novelty weighs 1 360 kg (- 25). But it is not faster.

The track-oriented variant of the hypercar is supposedly able to reach speeds of at least 402 km/h.

For comparison, a top speed of over 300 mph (483 km/h) was promised for the regular F5 at one time, but in fact such a figure for the car was unattainable.

Despite the lower speed, the Revolution version should please drivers with improved handling.

And it also has on-board telemetry by default (to track results on the track). As well as the usual Venom F5, modification Revolution will be released in quantities of 24 cars.

Thus the price list for the novelty is much higher — $2.7 million (187.2 million rubles at the current exchange rate).

Recall that the Americans were asking for a base supercar 2.1 million (145.6 million rubles), and they were quickly sold out.
