Technical characteristics of Hyundai Creta II include familiar for its predecessor petrol quadruplets with working volume of 1.6 and 2.0 liters.

Both are offered with a six-speed automatic transmission (the base can also be ordered with a manual), and the drive can be either front or all-wheel drive.

Options and prices

The entry-level Prime version includes 16″ steel wheels, halogen headlights, front airbags, ESP, air conditioning, electric drive and heated mirrors and a media system with an eight-inch screen (plus steering wheel buttons) with Bluetooth support.

The Classic variant adds heated front seats, an auto driver’s side power window, power folding mirrors, a USB jack on the second row, as well as a luggage rack and a power steering wheel adjustment.

The Family option includes roof rails and 16″ alloy wheels, climate control and heated steering wheel, rearview camera and aft parking sensors, and an engine start button.

Cars with automatic transmission are additionally equipped with the Bluelink telematics system with remote engine start.

The Lifestyle package includes LED headlights and fog lights, six airbags, light and rain sensors, instrument panel with seven-inch color screen, power driver seat, cruise control and 17-inch wheels.

Top version Prestige also has increased number of chrome elements in body design, leatherette upholstery, panoramic roof, Bose music, multimedia with big 10,25-inch screen, navigation and traffic circle vision cameras, front parking sensors, and heated rear sofa and heated windshield.

Note also that you can order a two-tone body painting with contrasting roof for Lifestyle and Prestige configurations — it will cost extra 22,000 rubles.

And for versions Classic, Family and Lifestyle offered packs of bundled options which provide for part of the equipment from more expensive executions.

Technical characteristics

The new Hyundai Kreta 2021 body is based on the first-generation model, but the «bogie» itself here is modernized, with elements from the more modern K2 architecture, familiar from the KIA Ceed and Seltos models.

The crossover has a transversely located engine and a load-bearing body, in the power structure of which the Koreans widely used high-strength steel grades.

In the front, the car still has McPherson struts, while the configuration of the rear suspension directly depends on the type of drive.

In the Russian market the lineup of power units for the new Hyundai Kreta 2021 model year is represented by two petrol atmospheric «four», well-known from its predecessor.

In the base crossover relies 1.6-liter Gamma family engine. On the front-wheel drive cars, its output reaches 123 hp. (151 Nm), and it can work both with a manual, and with a six-band automatic.

The variant with a manual transmission accelerates from a place up to a hundred for 12.3 seconds, with an automatic transmission — for 12.1 seconds.

Maximum speed in both cases reaches 169 km/h. On all-wheel drive versions of the model the engine develops 121 «ponies» and 148 Nm of torque.

At the same time the car with a mechanics is able to speed up from 0-100 km/h in 12.9 seconds, and with an automatic — in 13.1 seconds.

Their speed limit is 167 kilometers per hour. Alternatively, the Hyundai Creta II can be ordered with a 2.0-liter Nu Series engine, which works exclusively with the automatic transmission, developing 149 horsepower and 191 Nm.

The car with front-wheel drive climbs a hundred in 10.7 seconds, and its maximum speed is 183 km/h. The all-wheel drive variant is a bit slower: its figures are 11.3 seconds and 179 km/h respectively.

Crossover Review

Driving becomes uncomfortable, due to what it is necessary to reduce speed greatly, even if the condition of the conditional road and allows you to go faster.

And the cross-country ability of the crossover also leaves much to be desired (even in all-wheel drive versions), so for inveterate fishermen and hunters this model is definitely not suitable.

And although the new Hyundai Kreta 2021 refers to the class of compact crossovers, but its interior is quite spacious.

Forward armchairs are located on maximum distance from each other, so it is not necessary to push with elbows, and the ceiling does not press on your head.

But the seats in the car are comfortable, due to what one can be behind a steering wheel for several hours in a row.

It should be noted only that a little bit insufficient lateral support, but the last becomes appreciable only at active driving.

In back there is also enough place, and one can go here up to 180 sm. in height without knees resting on backs of front seats.

The only disappointment is absence of adjustment of backrest inclination, and the manufacturer could not economize on a back armrest.
