Sales of the new Hyundai Tucson 2021 — 2022 model year will soon start in Russia.
Auto maker Hyundai has unveiled the all-new Tucson 2021 — 2022 model year. The car is made in the corporate style of the «Parametric Dynamics» company and has headlights visually combined with a radiator grille (daytime running lights in the off state merge with the grille), front doors with a designer «knot» in which several edges intersect at once.
Also, the crossover received a two-tone body color with a contrasting roof and several options for rims with a diameter of 17 to 19 inches.
The overall dimensions of the novelty have slightly increased compared to its predecessor and are:
length — 4500 mm (+20 mm),
width — 1865 mm (+15 mm) and height — 1650 mm (+5 mm), the wheelbase increased by 10 mm to 2680 mm.
A digital instrument panel with a diagonal of 10.25 inches (in top versions «), a center console without physical keys, a large screen of the media system (8.0 or 10.25 inches, depending on the configuration), and a touch-sensitive climate control unit appeared inside the car.
Specifications
On the Russian market, the car will be available with a 2-liter G4NL-5 petrol engine with a capacity of 150 hp. (192 Nm) and with a 186-horsepower (416 Nm) D4HD-5 diesel engine with a volume of 2 liters.
The petrol unit will be aggregated with a 6-speed manual gearbox or 6-range «automatic», and the diesel version — only with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Drive — front or full.
In the US and Europe, the crossover will be offered with a 1.6-liter T-GDI (150 hp) petrol turbo four and a 1.6-liter CRDi turbo diesel (115 hp), paired with 6 -step manual transmission.
Also available will be «soft» hybrids with a 48-volt starter-generator, which will include a 1.6 T-GDI petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 150 or 180 hp, as well as boosted to 136 hp. diesel unit CRDi with a volume of 1.6 liters. Both hybrids are combined with a 6-speed iMT manual transmission and a 7-speed preselective “robot”.
Also, the new Hyundai Tucson 2021 — 2022 will be offered in hybrid variants. In the first case, a 1.6-liter T-GDI petrol engine is combined with a 60-horsepower electric motor and a 1.49 kWh lithium-ion battery.
The total output of the installation is 230 horsepower. The car is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, the drive can be front or full. A 265-horsepower plug-in hybrid will appear later.

In Korea, sales of the new Hyundai Tucson 2021 — 2022 began in September 2020 at a price of $ 20,600 (about 1,550,000 rubles). The novelty will reach Russia in the second quarter of 2021.
