Hyundai Tucson N Line 2021: new Tussan with sporty notes.
While Russia is waiting for the usual 4th generation Tussan, a sported version of the crossover, the 2021
Hyundai Tucson N Line, is being prepared for its debut in the European market. Such a modification relies only on powerful motors, as well as a special body decor, a modified interior and a reconfigured suspension.
Online sales in Europe will start in spring, prices will be announced later. The novelty will most likely reach Russia with a great delay.
The current Tucson N Line with a 2.0-liter 185 hp diesel engine. and 8АКПП are offered at the price of 2,339,000 rubles.
Exterior design
The sporty character of the new Tucson N Line is expressed in a more aggressive look. Glossy black decorative elements are actively used here — they are used to frame the headlights and trim the pillars.
The mirror caps are finished in Phantom Black and the contrasting roof is similarly painted to match five of the seven body colors available. The Shadow Gray shade is exclusive to the N Line.
The new version of Tussan is also distinguished by original bumpers: the front one is equipped with an enlarged lower air intake, the rear one has a silver diffuser with pronounced ribs, a full-width red reflector strip and twin round exhaust pipes.
The n-line spoiler is long and aerodynamically optimized (with additional fins). Side skirts — sill moldings and wheel arch linings — painted in body color.
The crossover also has non-standard 19-inch rims with a geometric design. Well, it was not done without special nameplates «N Line», decorating the radiator grille and front fenders.
Interior trim and equipment
In the interior of the 2021 Hyundai Tucson N Line, a special trim in black with red accents sets up a sporty twist.
The embossed front seats are upholstered in leather and suede, the steering wheel and gearshift are equipped with N-symbols, pedals and door sills are equipped with metal pads.
The model is equipped with two 10.25-inch displays (digital tidy and media center screen), three-zone climate control and heated seats (the front ones are also ventilated).
Among the standard electronic assistants are automatic lane maintenance, monitoring of «blind» zones, and a parking assistance system.
Hyundai Tucson N Line 2021 vehicles
The motor range of the Tussan sports variation includes all the engines of the standard crossover, with the exception of the «junior» diesel with 116 hp. That is, configurations are available:
1.6 CRDi with 48-volt hybrid superstructure (136 hp);
1.6 T-GDI (150 HP);
1.6 T-GDI Mild Hybrid (150 or 180 HP);
1.6 T-GDI Hybrid (230 HP);
1.6 T-GDI Plug-in Hybrid (265 HP)
The drive, depending on the modification, is front or full.
The basic suspension on the new N Line is the same as on the regular Tucson.
But the adaptive chassis ECS has original settings that allow you to quickly reduce body roll and more sharply respond to steering wheel turns.
The steering wheel, by the way, when the Sport mode is selected, is decently «heavier», providing better feedback.
