The Jeep Grand Cherokee 2023 SUV has been updated for the new model year, but when it will hit the market is not known.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the company’s best SUVs that has been in production for a huge number of years.

At one time this model was also available in Russia, but current times have forced the manufacturer to leave the Russian market.

However, in its home country the SUV steadily receives updates. One of them was announced the day before.

It is reported that the Jeep Grand Cherokee 2023 will continue to be sold in the off-road Trailhawk version, but now it is available only with the 4xe hybrid unit.

Note that this option is offered in almost all of the company’s models in standard, non-hybrid versions.

Together with this the Grand Cherokee 4xe has received visual changes. Here, in particular, the body received glossy black inserts.

We should say that the large 10.1-inch digital dashboard screen is no longer available in the base configuration, and now it is included only in Limited and Overland versions.

Also, the Limited version is now available with Alpine’s 9-speaker audio system, just like the base package. A more pleasant sound system consisting of 19 speakers is now only available as an option and only in the Overland and Summit versions.

Grand Cherokee L long wheelbase version is also unchanged. But here there are the same changes as in the short wheelbase version, including a digital dashboard display, as well as acoustics.

At the moment, that’s all we know about the American SUV’s update for the new model year.

The manufacturer has not yet disclosed information about how the pricing of the model will change and when it will go on sale.

For 30 years, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV has been successfully sold around the world. It combines a luxurious cabin and excellent off-road performance.

To commemorate this significant event the American company has decided to release a special version. Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary 2023 is officially presented.

In this edition, the car has a dark body finish, including the radiator grille and lower body panels. The SUV rides on 20-inch wheels with a Y-spoke design.

There are also blue towing hooks. More can be noted panoramic sunroof with double glazing, special badges and the back panel in the color of the body. These elements show that we have an unusual version of the model.

The interior has black seats with leather trim. Other amenities include an infotainment system with a 10.1-inch screen, an Alpine audio system with 10 speakers, ventilation of the front seats, a unit with wireless charging for phones and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety is provided by a 360-degree camera, parking assistants and a digital rearview mirror.

Other than that, the special edition does not differ from the basic version of the model. There is a 2,0-liter turbocharged engine under the hood, as well as an electric motor.

The system develops 375 horsepower and 637 N*m of torque. A 17 kWh battery provides about 40 kilometers of autonomous driving.

The SUV is capable of towing more than 2.7 tons of cargo. Additionally, there is an all-wheel drive system with a two-speed transfer case. For the special version, buyers will need to add $4,700 (280,966 rubles) to the cost of the car.
