As for the powertrain in the V8 architecture, there are no more details about it yet. It is only known that it is from the Hemi family (those that are now on sale from the Hurricane family), has a volume of 6.4 liters and produces up to 456 hp. at 610 Hm. An 8-band machine is paired with it.

What is also remarkable, the dynamics of the novelty, as for an all-terrain vehicle, is quite impressive — 4.9 seconds to hundreds. The maximum speed is 200 km / h. Also, as for the new exhaust system, the driver will be able to adjust the sound using two flaps.

For all its formidable looks and pricey price tag, the Wrangler has never been premium equipment.
Considering that the Rubicon 392 fully inherits the onboard equipment of the 4th generation serial variants, the list will be as follows:

Body and dimensions

The show car was presented exclusively in a 4-door version of the factory model. Whether there will be a compartment version in the event of the launch of mass production, the company representatives do not yet know themselves.

There are not many differences from the serial version:
Enlarged wheels;
Soft folding roof, instead of a hard one (also collapsible);
Lack of thresholds;
Another, more powerful bumper with a winch;
Lack of side and rear windows.

The interior of the all-terrain vehicle was not shown, but at the same time they did not hide it. It’s just that it is no different from the serial version. Unless the show car was made in red, which was not presented in the 4th generation.

However, the Rubicon is an all-terrain vehicle and who wants 37-inch wheels will take either this or a fresh Bronco. Although the latter, by the way, will be almost half the price.

Price and start date

So far, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 remains a show car. According to the president of the company, so far they are assessing the reaction of the audience and only then will make a decision whether to start the car in mass production or not.

So in 2020, there is no talk of a serial launch. But given the love of American and Australian car enthusiasts for the V8 brand and engines, a positive decision is just around the corner.

The price has not yet been announced. Today, the most expensive configuration with a 272 hp inline turbo four. costs 4.9 million rubles. And given the upgrade, we should expect a price tag in the area 5.5 million rubles.
