The all-new KAMAZ Lincor 2022-2023 crossover was unveiled in the first photos: what does it have in common with Mercedes?

On the wave of the fact that the automobile market is constantly replenished with new inexpensive crossovers from China, there are rumors that the domestic KAMAZ is also planning to develop its own model of this type, thus expanding the range of products.

It is assumed that Chinese carmaker BAIC, which produces inexpensive models on the domestic market, could be a partner for production of the new KAMAZ Lincor 2022-2023 crossover.

For example, BAIC has a crossover Beijing X7 in its range, which could become a prototype for the future model, and its price in China is at about 1.3 million rubles, translated into local currency.

In this case, the two models will be united by not only the platform, but also a number of design solutions, which at the moment are practiced by many car brands.

Here, as an example, we can cite the information that the new generation Mitsubishi ASX will be released with a glance at the Renault Captur.

If externally both models will be similar, the interior of the crossover from KAMAZ will largely resemble the models from Mercedes-Benz.

That’s why the interior of the first Russian crossover can be seen dual display on the front panel, combining a 10.25-inch digital dashboard screen, as well as a 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system monitor.

You can also find another small monitor to control the climate control system. All this may not be available in the basic packages, as the estimated cost of the crossover will be 1.3 million rubles.

One of the advantages of the first crossover KAMAZ Linkor 2022-2023 is its powertrain, which will be the same as the engine range of Chinese Beijing X7.

All this was made possible thanks to the «bogie», taken as the basis of the domestic parket.

Thus, the car will receive a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine with 188 hp and 275 N*m of torque, which is able to interact both with the 7-speed automatic transmission, and with a manual transmission with 6 gears.
