Kia Cerato 2022.

In Korea, the updated Kia Cerato sedan of the 2022 model year was presented.

Korean automaker Kia has unveiled a facelifted 2022 K3. In other countries, the novelty is known as the Kia Cerato and Forte.

The car received LED headlights, a new front bumper with integrated DRLs, updated taillights, a lower air intake and new design wheels at 16 and 17 inches.

Inside, the novelty has a fully digital instrument cluster, a new multimedia system with a 10.25-inch widescreen display (only in top-end versions) and an electronic parking brake button.

Also presented was the «charged» K3 GT 2022 hatchback with red accents, a large diffuser and special tailpipes.

Specifications

Nothing has been said about the changes in the Kia Cerato / Forte / K3 2022 in terms of technology. In Russia, a pre-styling car is sold with naturally aspirated engines of 1.6 (128 hp) and 2.0 liters (150 hp).

KIA K3 2022 has got fashionable optics and a different grille: we are waiting for a similar Cerato.

KIA has published the first photos of the updated K3 sedan (known as «Cerato» in Russia). These pictures show that the Korean four-door has acquired a modified «face».

Restyled KIA K3 2022 received a narrower radiator grill, which is now adjoined by headlights.

The latter are also slightly different here — with a different DRL pattern, made in the form of a double dotted line.

In addition, the developers abandoned the bumper turn signals, integrating them into the headlights.

Of the innovations at the stern, it is worth noting a modified bumper with other rear direction indicators.

Plus, the car has got new lights, which again draw attention to themselves with a dotted pattern.

As for the interior, during the restyling, the sedan retained the same front panel, but the top-end versions of the model acquired a new multimedia system with a 10.25-inch widescreen (previously it had an 8.0-inch monitor).

Plus, the model was equipped with a virtual device with a display of the same diagonal.

For the new Kia K3, a brown and black interior design scheme has also become available (shown in the photo), and the list of equipment has been expanded with a remote engine start system and an electric parking brake.

No other information on restyling was provided, while the Koreans promise to fully declassify the updated model at the end of April 2021.

It is expected that later Cerate will receive similar changes for the Russian market.
