Lada Priora NFR 2022-2023.

The first images of LADA Priora NFR 2022-2023 liftback have been shown in the Internet.

This car is very different from its predecessor. The first pictures of the car in a body of a liftback have already appeared on the web.

The LADA Priora was produced for several years and was very successful.

Under the hood of this car is a 1.6-liter diesel engine with an output of 95 hp.

There could be more powerful versions — with volume of 1.8-liter and output of 150 or 180 hp.

And the second modification will be combined only with automatic transmission. The appearance of hybrid power pack is not excluded.

If the previous version of LADA Priora had some body quality issues, the car would rust after 2-3 years, now we can take all that into account. Stronger steel could be used for manufacturing.

Photos of the updated liftback LADA Priora NFR, which will soon be mass-produced, have been shown in the web, which has long been awaited by buyers.

The car is being developed as a competitor to the Japanese premium sedan Toyota Camry, which has long been in demand on the Russian market.

Interestingly, the manufacturer plans to provide frameless doors for this modification.

The body can only be a liftback, which makes the car versatile and suitable for a large number of buyers.

There will be a choice of three powertrain options, one diesel and two gasoline.

Serial production is scheduled for the end of this year, and the start of sales is scheduled for the beginning of 2023.

Cost has not yet been announced. Future owners will be able to find out the price tag only after the model appears at dealerships.

Under the hood will be installed a 1.6-liter power unit. Its capacity will be from 98 to 123 horsepower.

Together with it a five-speed manual transmission or six-speed «automatic» works. Drive can be front or all-wheel drive, depending on the modification.

Cars made in Russia are not richly equipped, but they can be fully exploited on public roads, given the affordable initial price, which pleases customers, including throughout the period of operation.

The manufacturer AvtoVAZ reported that it has no plans to revive the Priora, despite the fact that the model, at one time, was in demand.

The fact is that the brand already has a representative of the size class B in its lineup — the Lada Vesta.

The latter at the time of release was not much more expensive than the Priora, so the release of the outdated model was inexpedient.

But the Lada Priora, shown in the pictures, could really go into production.

There are several reasons for that.

Firstly, it will be a larger car, which will occupy an expensive niche.
Secondly, the body dimensions will be 475 x 187.3 140 cm. Wheelbase reaches 279 cm.

The interior has a non-standard design — directly above the steering wheel is the dashboard.

The upper part of the steering wheel is beveled. The diagonal of the instrument panel display is 12.3 inches. The central console has a screen of 8 or 10 inches. Particular attention is paid to the security system.
