The new Lamborghini Countach with a powerful V12 looks very cool on the road.

Footage of the new Lamborghini Countach that was captured on a public road has appeared on the web.

In the video, you can hear the menacing sound of the powerful V12 it is equipped with.

This certainly isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Lamborghini Countach version of the 2022 model year.

It’s not even the first time we’ve heard it. This recent video from YouTube blogger Varryx of the Italian novelty lasts just under two minutes.

But power-car-crazed fans love the sound of an engine with huge amounts of horsepower, and this video offers a brief opportunity to hear a powerful V12 that you can only dream about.

There are all sorts of videos of the Lamborghini Aventador exhaust on the Internet, and this is the motor that the revived version of the Countach is equipped with.

Its 6.5-liter V12 is almost the same as the Aventador SVJ, though it includes a supercapacitor-based hybrid unit from the previously shown Sian concept, providing a total of 803 horsepower.

Nevertheless, the exhaust is unique to the Countach — a tribute to the four exhausts that adorned the original version of the model.

You can hear the powerful sound of the exhaust for about 15 seconds of the video.

We’re used to modern Lamborghini’s either running quietly at idle or making a piercing sound when accelerating.

But this new Countach clearly doesn’t «scream.» In fact, it rather sounds like old Italian supercars with a little baritone rumble.

Of course, the supercar’s engine wasn’t running at 8,500 rpm at the time of recording.

And perhaps there’s a bit of imaginary sound on our part, given the Countach’s retro shape.

Production of the new Lamborghini Countach is limited to 112 units, and each is sold out.

We suspect this particular car is not one of them. It’s probably a Countach test car, which could mean that the sound we’re hearing isn’t exactly factory.

If it isn’t, we hope buyers will be offered an upgrade, because we seriously want to hear this car again.
