Lexus will boost power in its low-cost cars with an expansion of its F Sport Perfomance lineup.

Lexus recently introduced the new RX 500h crossover in the F Sport Perfomance variant, which has become the flagship for this model.

But the Japanese manufacturer is going to increase the number of cars, which are produced in this modification. And Lexus has turned its attention to cheaper models.

Thus, an absolutely new crossover RX-F should be available in F Sport Perfomance, which characteristics and appearance have not been revealed yet.

Thus the company Lexus does not disclose the list of cars that will receive such modification.

However, representatives of the Japanese brand said that this decision corresponds to the growth strategy.

We should note that unlike the modification F Sport, which was offered with many models of Lexus earlier, the new F Sport Perfomance stands out because in addition to changing the appearance due to the sports dodger and other elements, it increases the performance of cars.

The RX crossover in this version is equipped with a hybrid unit based on a turbocharged engine that produces up to 371 hp and 551 N*m of torque.

Additionally, the Japanese model has received 400-millimeter rotors, six-piston calipers and adaptive shock absorbers.

Lexus has declared that the future cars with modification F Sport Perfomance will have also advantages in comparison with German competitors in efficiency.

But in this case, representatives of the Japanese brand do not disclose any details.

Despite the said, already now we can assume that all models with the F Sport Perfomance package will be equipped with hybrid units.

It is explained by adherence of Lexus to work on increase of ecological compatibility of produced cars.

The new Lexus RX 2023 model year is equipped with an electronic safety system «Safety System+ 3.0».

The last consists of adaptive cruise control and numerous electronic assistants. For example, there is a system of tracking the state of the driver.

It can independently stop the automobile in case a person has fallen asleep or lost consciousness behind the wheel.

Start of sales of the new Lexus RX 5 generation on the market is expected in the fall of the twenty-second, and first sales of the gasoline and initial hybrid version will begin.

But rechargeable hybrids will have to wait a few more months.
