MAZ Vitim 2022-2023.

There are rumors that it could be another Chinese company — FAW, which previously had no production in the countries that are part of the trade agreement.

That is why their cars are much more expensive in Russia. But the demand for them is still quite high.

The trend shows that domestic buyers are increasingly choosing in favor of Chinese companies. That is why it will be profitable for FAW to begin cooperation with MAZ.

Due to this the Chinese will be able to reduce the cost of their models on the Russian market, and this will have a positive impact on increasing sales.

Most likely, first we will see trucks, but later production of smaller models will begin.

To avoid sanctions, FAW could simply give the Belarusians its platform, engines and technology.

MAZ, using all this, will be able to develop its own crossover. Auto experts on our YouTube channel Naavtotrasse have already suggested the future model, showing a series of renderings.

MAZ Vitim 2022-2023 crossover will use the Chinese platform from the existing car.

In Russia, such a model will immediately become the leader of the segment, because now in our market there is not a single competitor to the future parket car.

Its price will presumably be around 1.2 million rubles. The Vitim should surpass even the Creta and Seltos in some parameters.

Under the hood, as standard, we’ll see a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that develops 150 horsepower.

It will come with either manual or automatic transmission. In the top versions will be offered a 2.0-liter motor with 142 horsepower. It works only with an automatic transmission.

We won’t see a four-wheel drive. But the fuel consumption will make only 6,4 l/100 km.

In cheap configurations the car will be more suitable for bad roads because of the suspension.

It is able to dampen even strong vibrations. Having not the largest dimensions, the Belarusian crossover will get one of the most comfortable saloon among the whole segment.

Passengers with height of 185 centimeters will be most comfortable to sit in the back. The seats will be trimmed with leather, and their upholstery will be very soft.

In addition, the manufacturer will offer a new dashboard, equipped with a small display, manual climate control and a few more useful features.

It is also possible the appearance of voice control support. The car can be considered a family car.

In addition, it will be able to boast of excellent noise insulation.

We can say that MAZ Vitim 2022-2023 is the optimal crossover, which has no special disadvantages and will be able to establish itself as one of the leaders in our market for a long time.

It will definitely satisfy the needs of absolutely different buyers. But here in terms of appearance, there are some questions, because it was created on the example of the Chinese model.

At first glance, the crossover looks a little outdated. This may have a bad impact on sales of the future novelty.

So far, MAZ has not officially announced the timing of the debut of the crossover, but it can be expected even before the end of this year or early next year.
