For Europe, the new 2024 Mazda CX-80 crossover will soon be prepared. Representatives of the Japanese company revealed some details about this model.

According to the announced information, the CX-80 will officially debut at the end of 2023.

It is possible that almost immediately after the presentation, the crossover will enter the European market.

Representatives of Mazda refused to disclose details about their new product.

But they casually stated that this model will be, in fact, a 3-row copy of the CX-60. This information allows us to make assumptions about what kind of technical part the CX-80 will receive.

The Japanese novelty will be equipped by default with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, the maximum output of which reaches 188 hp.

For a surcharge with a crossover, a 3.3-liter turbodiesel will be offered, which, depending on the version, produces up to 231 or 254 hp. power.

Performance figures for these motors vary depending on the market in which the CX-60 is introduced.

There is a possibility that a hybrid setup will also be prepared for the CX-80, which will be borrowed from the CX-90.

Like other models that Mazda produces, the presented novelty is based on a rear-wheel drive platform.

CX-80 must be larger than CX-60. Visually, both cars will also differ from each other. Perhaps the CX-80, like the recently debuted CX-90, will get a more angular and wide body.
