McLaren has introduced a new supercar 750S with a 740 hp engine.
McLaren has revealed its latest 2024 750S supercar, which will replace the iconic 720S on the market.
Note that both models received a similar design, however, the novelty is much more powerful than its predecessor.
The 750S is equipped with a rear-wheel drive system, and it will hit the market in two body styles at once: a coupe and a convertible.
The “British” will move with the help of a 4.0-liter V8 with dual supercharging.
The total power of the power unit is 740 «horses», and 7AKP is proposed as a transmission.
Such a bunch accelerates the supercar to 96 km / h in just 2.7 seconds.
In McLaren itself, the novelty is positioned as the lightest and fastest production car in its lineup.
And indeed it is. The 750S weighs only 1,277 kg due to the fact that some of the body parts are made of carbon fiber.
The price tag for the British supercar is already known. In the United States market, it will start at $324,000, which is equivalent to 26.4 million rubles. The convertible will cost more, starting at $345,000.
Visually, the novelty is similar to the current McLaren 720S, but it has a number of unique design solutions.
As reported, the model is available in two versions — coupe and convertible with a hardtop. According to the characteristics of the novelty, of course, received a number of advantages.
The first thing to note here is the engine. This is a V8 unit with a twin turbo system.
At maximum settings, it produces 750 horsepower. The thrust in this case is 590 N * m.
It is combined with rear-wheel drive and a sequential gearbox.
To accelerate to 100 km / h, the car will take about 2.8 seconds. The speed limit is 332 km/h.
A clear advantage of a supercar is its weight. It was possible to reduce it due to the appropriate materials and the design of the main components.
So, the most “light” chairs are installed in the cabin, which, nevertheless, are quite comfortable.
For them, as well as for other parts, carbon fiber was used.
In addition, the aerodynamic outlines of the body are noted.
The car will be available in two versions — TechLux and Performance, but their prices are still unknown. But now those who wish can book it.
