Hennessey specialists squeezed more than 1,000 «horses» out of the McLaren 765LT.

Atelier Hennessey has unveiled its own version of the McLaren 765LT supercar called the «HPE1000». The tuners threw all their efforts into revising the technical «filling», so the outside of the modification can be recognized only by special nameplates.

Of the innovations in the cabin, there is only a plate with the serial number of the car on the front panel.

From the McLaren plant, the 765LT is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 765 hp. (800 Nm), working in tandem with the SSG seven-band robot. The tuners also managed to increase the engine output to 1,014 forces.

To do this, they reconfigured the software and installed new air filters. Plus the car received stainless steel downpipes. For such an upgrade, tuners ask for $ 24,950 (1,850,000 rubles at the current exchange rate).

The desired result was achieved not only by the widespread use of carbon fiber and the abandonment of some equipment, but also by the installation of thinner windshields and side windows, while the rear glass here is completely made of polycarbonate.

In total, the British plan to release only 765 copies of the new 765LT, while deliveries of the first cars to customers will begin in September. The company promises to announce the cost of the «long-tail» coupe in the near future.
