McLaren F1.
A billion rubles for a perfectly preserved 1995 McLaren F1.
Gooding & Company has announced a tender for the classic 1995 McLaren F1 supercar.
At one time, the British produced only 106 copies of this model, and only 64 of them received permission to drive on public roads.
This two-door car with chassis number «029» belongs to road cars, and all these years it was almost never used.
For a long time, the supercar was in the possession of a Japanese collector, who drove it only from time to time. Now the car is officially owned by a collector from the United States.
The latter also does not operate the car, so it is not surprising that after 26 years it is in perfect condition. This two-door has a Creighton Brown exterior with a light brown and dark brown leather interior.
The mileage of the McLaren F1 put up for auction is only 390 kilometers. Technically, the car is in excellent condition, and its wheels are still «shod» in the original Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
Bidding for the McLaren F1 will be held in August 2021, while the organizers expect that the two-door can go under the hammer for more than $ 15 million (1.08 billion rubles at the current exchange rate).
The price seems incredible, but this is one of the best preserved examples of a rare model that many wealthy collectors would like to get.
