Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 2022.

The Brabus tuning agency has shown a new version of the Maybach GLS 600: 600 hp under the hood and a different look.

Brabus has pleased us again with its new creation. This time we were presented the improved Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 2022.

The model received updated exterior and interior. However, the most interesting improvements are waiting for us under the hood.

As you have understood, 900 in the name of the new model means its horsepower. This was achieved thanks to a lot of engine upgrades.

The working volume of the engine was increased from 4 to 4.5 liters. This is a proprietary V8 engine.

To achieve such power is also used a double turbocharger.

Exactly these changes allow the updated Maybach GLS 600 to develop 900 horsepower.

Brabus also put a torque limit to keep the transmission.

Another change affects the intake and fuel systems. The exhaust system has been updated to increase performance.

It can be safely controlled, and the pipes come out through a new diffuser.

These few upgrades are only part of the overall picture.

They change the look of the car and have a positive effect on aerodynamic performance.

There are new carbon fiber parts on the front and rear of the crossover. They, too, have a great effect on improving the appearance.

The grille and body are painted a unique green color, as are the new enlarged wheels.

In the cabin, you can choose your own trim colors, because the manufacturer makes each model to order and offers a wide range of paint.

Brabus said that acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.2 seconds and the crossover has a top speed of 320 km/h.

To sum it up, Brabus managed to make just a phenomenal crossover, although we can’t say that the regular version isn’t the best.

The tuners only added more power and improved the appearance of the car.

Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 2022 reaches a length of 5,205 mm (- 2), with a wheelbase of 3,135 mm, that is the dimensions of the model remained almost as in the original GLS.

But the trunk of the model became noticeably more modest — only 520 liters (- 370). Note that the cargo area is separated from the interior with a fixed horizontal shelf.

According to the developers, this solution helps to reduce noise in the cabin and minimize vibration.
