Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer Concept 2020 is the harbinger of the new Outlander crossover.
The concept of the new Mitsubishi car was held at the largest automobile exhibition in Europe — the Geneva International Show in early March. Japanese Outlander is now considered a harbinger of updating all crossovers from the company.

Cost and release date

At a press release, representatives of Mistubishi said that in the car they tried to reproduce the famous Engelberg ski resort in the Swiss mountains. Therefore, the concept of a new car was not in vain presented precisely in Geneva, so marketers tried to attract a European audience.

Full release of the car is scheduled for mid-2020. Engleberg Tourer itself will be executed on the platform of the tribesman — Nissan X-Trail. Some motorists have already suggested that the vehicle is a warm-up, before the exit of Auntelder in 2021.

Representatives of Mitsubishi did not name the cost of the car, but according to preliminary information, the price will be from 40 thousand dollars. The same applies to entry into the domestic market — there is no information yet.

Engineers tried to maximize the amount of free space both in the cabin and in the trunk. Due to this, it turned out to arrange the seats inside the car in three rows and carry up to seven passengers.

Externally, the Engleberg Tourer car retains many proprietary design elements. These details are not surprising. If you look at the car with the naked eye, it may seem the Mitsubishi XM Concept, which was introduced to the general public back in 2016.

In general, there are similarities with the L200, Delica D5 and ASX pickups. In front of the car stands out due to its power, everything looks strong and powerful. The developers promised to please the users with an interesting roof update, but so far they have not reported specifically which ones.

The engine is also a hybrid type, designed for 2.4 liters and an atmospheric installation that works in tandem with several drives (one unit on each axis).
