The Geely company has recently presented an updated crossover Coolray.
Now the manufacturer has announced that sales of the model on the home market will start on August 9.
At the same time prices for the new Geely Coolray 2022 have become known.
The crossover was offered for a minimum of 99.8 thousand yuan, which in recalculation at the current exchange rate is 887 thousand rubles.
The top modification is estimated at 119.8 million yuan, or 1.06 million rubles.
Coolray has been fundamentally transformed as part of the modernization.
The Chinese model, based on the BMA platform, does not look like its predecessor either externally or internally.
The crossover looks more aggressive thanks to an enlarged grille, which has become hourglass shaped.
This effect is emphasized by narrow headlights, large air intakes, a rear spoiler and large wheels painted in black.
Under the hood of the Chinese model hides a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine.
The Coolray presented in Russia is equipped with the same engine. But in new item the maximum output is brought up to 181 hp and tractive torque — up to 290 N*m.
Complete with it there is a seven-speed «robot». All-wheel drive crossover is still unavailable.
But the Coolray can boast of a large set of options.
Crossover is equipped with 10.25-inch digital dashboard, 12.3-inch touchscreen, climate equipment with a thin control unit, keyless start motor, automatic parking brake, all-around vision cameras and gearshift lever.
Additionally, the Chinese model got an interior air-cleaning system, sport front seats and seats with two-tone leather trim.
