But independent designers have shown what the new 2023 Subaru WRX might look like.

The published renders reveal a rather aggressive hatchback. The car has retained the characteristic cutout on the hood, designed for additional airing of the performance motor.

Several elements of the stern indicate that the future WRX may receive a powerful engine.

In particular, there are four exhaust pipes, which are built in a big plastic dodger. Above them there is a big antifender, which protrudes far above the roof.

In front, the Japanese novelty is distinguished by a large bumper. It combines wide side air intakes with plastic edging and fog lights.

The central bumper has the correct geometric shapes. Along the entire front bumper stretches curved plastic inserts, which add aggression to the body design.

The important feature of the presented WRX can be called low ground clearance, which once again emphasizes the sports orientation of the car.

It is complemented by large wheel disks. Wheel arches are covered with a wide plastic dodger.

It is important to note that the presented renders are not based on anything. This is due to the fact that Subaru has not shown even sketches of the future WRX by now, let alone a test prototype.

As such, it is not known if a hatchback like the one presented will hit the market.

The sporty Subaru WRX 2023 has been updated, becoming slightly more expensive.

There is already information about the equipment and cost of Subaru WRX 2023 for the U.S.. Here the car is offered in several variations with different levels of equipment.

The list of available options in the sedan has some changes, as well as in prices. By the way, the latter have also increased slightly.

Subaru WRX in the basic version on the North American market will cost from 1.973 million rubles.

In technical terms here is offered a turbocharged Boxer engine, the volume of which is equal to 2.4 liters.

Its output is at the level of 271 horsepower. The torque corresponds to 349 N*m.

This unit is combined with all-wheel drive system and manual transmission with six speeds.

The next modification in the list is Subaru Performance (SPT), where already an automatic transmission is used as a transmission. The price goes up to 2.088 million rubles.

As for equipment, it offers adaptive cruise control, lane monitoring unit, EyeSight control assist system, SI-Drive technology, a package of safety features, electronic parking brake and paddle shifter.

In the Premium version the sedan costs 2.129 million rubles. By the way, here is also offered a «mechanical».

The list of equipment includes 18-inch light-alloy wheels, fog lights with LED filling, a rear spoiler, an audio system with 11 speakers, automatically controlled optics and a panoramic sunroof.

Subaru WRX Limited Edition can be purchased for 2.403 million rubles. Transmission remains the same — manual transmission.

But the equipment is complemented by LED lights, integrated into the side mirrors, turn signals and headlights that respond to steering control.

Dealers will ask 2.77 million rubles for the top variant GT.

The sedan here is equipped with sport seats Recaro Performance Design, which are installed in the front.
